We share articles that are interesting in our family group chat but don't save the article and wait until a joke is made about the topic to share it. Why didn't your son just share the article when he initially read it if he felt it interesting.

Today for example, my Mother has shared an article about someone local to us being cruel to animals. She didn't save the article and only decide to share it after I make a joke about dogs and it sounds like your some chose to share that to make his uncle look bad.
