It’s in Canada but this case is quite shocking in it’s absurdity. A man who identifies as a woman is suing 16 women beauticians who didn’t want to have him in their home or to carry out the process. The UK generally looks to Canada for guidance in transgender rights legislation. I saw this yesterday and couldn't believe it was real, it's absolutely ridiculous for so many reasons. YANBU.

The more I read shit like this the more I realise if transwomen were actually women then they would never expect other women to be put in this position. Never expect women to share safe spaces and understand what it means to women to have to.

I’m getting so sick of this now. Even cis men are now getting in on the women-bashing.
It’s as though all the people biologically born male are ganging up in a huge backlash against women, feminism, equality and women’s rights. I’ve been attacked (verbally) by straight white men for using the word ‘men’ when describing something men had done. They said it was jarring and unnecessary.
I hate it. It’s making a mockery of the LGBTQ movement, it’s turning women and lesbians into pariahs and is going to make for a very confusing time for our young people, especially those questioning their sexuality but vulnerable kids too. It’s the empowers new clothes, nobody’s defending us for fear of looking prejudiced.

Men/man women/woman is the proper description and needs no prefix. That prefix is being pushed by the TRAs while they us OUR descriptors for themselves.

Because i look at what feminism has become and don’t agree with the direction it’s taking. Most feminist groups would throw me out for being transphobic, sex work phobic and porn phobic. And I don’t see myself as a radfem either.
