I have just discovered that my DP of 11 years - so far always seemed like a fairly decent adult man - says ‘Chester drawers’. Specifically, I was asking him where some paperwork was and he said ‘in the top Chester drawers in the spare room’

This has never happened before.

AIBU to leave?

DH always spells drawers as 'draws' in messages to me, because he know it annoys me so much.

I know the English language has evolved with time, but I really hope this particular spelling doesn't catch on. How does 'chester draws' even make sense?! Have these people never browsed furniture online anywhere but Facebook marketplace?

flumpybear · 13/07/2019 13:38

Slightly different but my DH when we first got together phoned directory enquiries, whab they said 'what name please' he said his own name!! I was hooting with laughter 🤪😆🤣
