The Tynemouth property is worth half a mil, tho. The big houses a couple of streets back are expensive but fabulous. That flat has amazing views and you could go to the fab cafe every day on the seafront! I used to take the dog on the Metro every weekend to Cullercoats, brilliant!

@Withnailandayegood grief that flat is expensive! It is lovely but that is a lot for a flat around here and I live in prime London commuter belt! But what a beautiful area and stunning views

Half a mil for Tynemouth? My ex was studying archaeology and had to do a dig on Tynemouth beach, they had to check and clear syringes/drug paraphernalia every morning before they could start again!

Actually scrub that, I want this one! It's far less fancy, and needs a lot of work doing inside, but it's much more secluded. Plus they have wisely added a DOG in the photos.

@brotown - there is some hideous decor in there! Nice pools, but Urgh @ the horrible portraits, and the sofas in the kitchen.

It's in Costa Rica, which isn't really commutable to my work, but hey.

Shinyme - I know people who live in houses like that don't have nosy neighbours just outside their bedroom but I don't think I could ever get used to sleeping, let alone anything else, next to so much glass!
