That comment to me is uncalled for.

I think they look nice op and I think you're an absolute star for taking all the bitchy nasty comments with a pinch of salt! Rude or what.

LEELULUMPKIN · 06/07/2019 20:50

If you like them OP good for you. As for me I will be sticking with my Denis Healy's.

chuttypicks · 06/07/2019 21:13

I think they look good. Not sure why so many people have such an issue with them. I like them personally, and I say that as a nearly 40 year old who gets my own eyebrows waxed only every couple of months, never wears make up and haven't had any sort of procedures. I'd be happy with them.

givemesteel · 06/07/2019 21:25

Ultimately different people have different tastes, and there are massive regional differences in what is considered attractive. I'm sure some people think my slightly unruly natural brows look hideous.

On principle though I do think people should be a lot more considered in any kind of permanent tattooing of eyebrows (whether, thick, thin, whatever) as fashions do change and eyebrows do change with age, so the eyebrows you had in your 20s in your 70s is immediately going to look very fake however well done.

SkintAsASkintThing · 06/07/2019 21:38

Any need for the nasty comments ??

They aren't my type of thing either but the OP obviously likes them....... hopefully some of the posters on here going out of their way to make shitty comments will bother to teach their kids if you don't have anything nice to.say don't say anything. Pretty obvious their own parents didn't bother 🙄

Annabk · 06/07/2019 21:48

What a strange thread. To me (not young or hip) the beauty industry has jumped the shark.

Myheartbelongsto · 06/07/2019 21:48

Thank you for your nice comments :)

@bobstersmum it was a challenge at times lol but literally nothing gets my back up and i can't be arsed to get pissed off with strangers on the net.

HariboLectar · 06/07/2019 21:57

patiently waiting for over plucked 90s brows to come back in 🙏

Myheartbelongsto · 06/07/2019 22:21

@ChardonnaysPrettySister I couldn't wait any longer!

OP posts:
ChardonnaysPrettySister · 07/07/2019 06:58

But they are not your eyebrows?

It would be like me saying look how much weight I lost and posting a photo of a fitness model.

WanderingTrolley1 · 07/07/2019 07:26

Could you post a picture of your actual eyebrows once they’ve healed, OP?

BullBullBull · 07/07/2019 07:29

Wow. A lot of bullying on this thread

MrsPerfect12 · 07/07/2019 07:36

I like them Op, I don't think they're over done or really dark at all.

Good point that someone else made about having done eyebrows and a bare face.

I'm really interested to see everyone else's brows now. Esp those criticising, would love to see what they have.

Bezalelle · 07/07/2019 07:40

It's not bullying to call a shit brow a shit brow.

SillySallyStruthers · 07/07/2019 07:53

I think they're lovely op! Ignore the haters

LaurieFairyCake · 07/07/2019 07:59

No one said ANYTHING rude about the brows until the OP confirmed it was a stock model photograph and not HER !

It's not bullying if it's not aimed at a person on this thread and aimed at a photo of a model Confused

RuggyPeg · 07/07/2019 08:05

Thank god this place ISNT Mrs Gloss n the Goss. You get deleted on there if you dare to say anything other than wow, babe, u look amaaaazing. On here, you get direct, sometimes frank, brutal honesty but it's authentic and not an echo chamber at least.

Fwiw, they really are ridiculous but if you like them, knock yourself out. It's your face - do what you want with it. They're like lip fillers tho - they never, ever look better or more attractive or enhance your look - they just look obviously fake and different but not better.

TheHandsOfNeilBuchanan · 07/07/2019 08:14

They look terrible

Reith · 07/07/2019 08:17

I'm curious as to what response you were expecting OP.

I don't wear make-up nowadays, so would anyone give a dummies' guide to microblading vs powerbrows?

AlaskanOilBaron · 07/07/2019 08:22

They look terrible, but I see they're not yours so....

MagicMojito · 07/07/2019 08:23

Not my thing personally but if it's given you a confidence boost then that's great. I use wunder brow to fill in my 90s over plucked brows. Probably looks shite to someone else's standards but for me does the job I'm looking for and makes me feel good. Each to their own Smile

stillmoving · 07/07/2019 08:23

I don't understand them tbh. Eyebrows are supposed to be hair, not a solid block of colour. Each to their own and all, bit it's really weird to post about how you live your new brows, complete with picture and then say 'actually these are not my brows'

Makes zero sense.

AlaskanOilBaron · 07/07/2019 08:23

Microblading is a sort of medium-term tattoo'ed eyebrow.

stillmoving · 07/07/2019 08:24

Wow. A lot of bullying on this thread

I'm not sure you understand what bullying is?
