That baby Ming the Merciless is excellent.

I’m not a fan of this Instagram eyebrow trend. I agree that they look like drag makeup.

Myheartbelongsto · 06/07/2019 14:46

how on earth do they look like they've been stuck on upside down......turn your laptop the right way up ;)

Or dear.

Are they meant to like this?

ScaryBunnyPainting · 06/07/2019 15:00

Why have I what? I haven’t posted multiple times about the same topic on the same day, you have. It’s not normal forum behaviour and it smacks of someone promoting their (rubbish looking) product for free.

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 06/07/2019 15:02

300 Euro for that!

What?

Have you asked permission from the owner of the photo to post it on here?

Hang on, where did I see the 300 Euro comment by OP? Is that gone?

Mintychoc1 · 06/07/2019 15:09

I honestly don’t understand the eyebrow thing. Since when were thick marker pen scribbles on your forehead attractive?

sqirrelfriends · 06/07/2019 15:14

Sorry, these look awful. Whats wrong with old fashioned eyebrow pencil?

Lizzielocket · 06/07/2019 15:20

Op, you should have known not to post this on hereGrin
Enhancing your looks on MN is seen as vain, non feminist and a waste of money.
You should have donated the money you wasted on your eyebrows to a worthy charity, you obviously don’t care about others suffering or indeed the planet.

Me, I think they’re fab. I’m booked in to have mine done next week, my brows are sparse and fair whereas bizarrely I’m dark.
Can’t wait.

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 06/07/2019 15:25

Nothing wrong with enhancing your looks.

I see no evidence for that though.

diddl · 06/07/2019 15:25

"Those look bloody awful and I say that as someone who likes a strong brow!"

I agree.

Maybe because they are so obviously fake?

AguerosAngel · 06/07/2019 15:26

Sorry but they’re awful Hmm

avinitall · 06/07/2019 15:30

Awful

QueenofPain · 06/07/2019 15:35

They look fab and I’m a little envious, however you were never going to get a great reception on here!

Mrs Gloss and The Goss is a FB group for sharing all this kind of stuff and I bet everyone will be delighted to see your new brows!

QueenofPain · 06/07/2019 15:37

Good grief. There really are some vile and insecure people in these comments.

KnifeAngel · 06/07/2019 15:38

They look terrible.

Myheartbelongsto · 06/07/2019 15:42

Are you ok dear? Bad day?

not promoting a product at all, not even in the same country as majority of posters on here.

skybluee · 06/07/2019 15:43

Think that's the problem - they're not enhanced, they just look completely fake and drawn on. A look partway between natural brows and those would be a lot nicer.

I hate the trend for ridiculous brows - have seen some shocking ones recently.

I think some of what I dislike about those is the shape, it just looks ultra fake.

This is speaking as someone who a few months ago 100% stopped using make-up on my brows. They looked ridiculous at first, half of them had fallen out! I didn't realise it had been affecting them that much. I was embarrassed to go out. But I gently washed them every evening and put on castor oil being really careful, and slowly over time they grew back - they look great now and I'm a lot happier. Also don't have to spend time every morning with little brushes and brown powder filling them in. If you look after them, they do respond to that. I feel lucky to have natural ones back.

Myheartbelongsto · 06/07/2019 15:44

squirrel, eyebrow pencils are not great to be honest and a massive pain in the arse if you have to fill them in every day.
