I've just seen on the news that the 29 Brexit Party MEPs all turned their backs (quite literally) during the European anthem in yesterday's opening session to the European Parliament.

Regardless of Pro-Brexit / Anti-Brexit debates, this is deeply deeply inappropriate, insanely undiplomatic and will have done nothing other than make the UK look ridiculous, childish and plain rude.

I'm ashamed to be represented by these people and the way things are going, ashamed to be a part of a country that is behaving like this.
Everyone else in Europe must think we are dirt.

At least we don't have concentration camps....yet.

It’s really childish behaviour that I wouldn’t expect from an adult, if I purposely turned my back on someone I disagreed with in a meeting I would be given a formal written warning.

English people not being able to see a doctor because of mass immigration and the surgeries and A&E cannot cope. Every single advert has to have a non English person in it

My do works in with a lot of French and German people, and he says the one benefit he’s had from the Referendum is that he gets bought a lot of drinks. The puzzled but sympathetic head tilts and shoulder pats that go with them is a bit hard to take though......

Janey I don't know where to start really....my main civil point to you would be that it is the rapidly ageing population that is causing so many problems in the NHS and austerity cuts (created by our Govt not the EU) in the community not mass immigration. I think you'll find that the NHS, care homes etc would/will collapse without immigration - what it where will you go then for your doctors and hospital appointments?

janey The people involved in the Rotherham case were British born, but they were Pakistani descent. Pakistan is not in Europe. Racists like you will get quite the shock when you realise that Brexit will mean we have to encourage more brown people in to look after the old white people while you've made Europeans feel unwelcome. EU nationals on the whole come here to work and pay taxes that pay for quite a few British people to have 10+ kids on benefits and sit on the dole. Maybe get some gcses, A Levels and a couple of degrees so you can replace the NHS workers that will leave because of you.

In one post you are conflating European freedom of movement, non EU immigration and cultural issues that have nothing to do with either. Rotherham grooming gangs are a disgusting byproduct of ill- addressed cultural issues combined with woeful incompetence on the part of our institutions. Nothing to do with the EU.
France is -by the way- a Western country with very similar values to those of Britain.
A&E is usually too full because of lack of investment from the Tories in the last 10 years and an ageing population.
