And why?

I have a problem with my joints (hips are the worst) and the only time I get significant pain relief is whilst I'm in the bath. I know it's not great for the environment but I have between 1-3 baths a day just to get some relief. If there were a more eco friendly way I would take it!

So. Lovely bubble bath suggestions please? Grin

Radox and Epsom salts

Occasionally a cap full of Dettol

PCohle · 01/07/2019 18:21

Radox here too. Not Dettol though Shock

missbattenburg · 01/07/2019 18:22

Badedas - smells all planty, like a forest.

Sandybval · 01/07/2019 18:26

Matey, and not even ashamed! So bubbly, smells lovely and gentle on skin.

Absoluteunit · 01/07/2019 18:27

Not bubbles but I like bath salts with some essential oils (my favourite is a mix of bergamot and lavender)

Fatasfooook · 01/07/2019 18:29

Lush bubble bar, (blue and white swirly one) they last ages, are nice on the skin and smell great and no plastic bottle pollution

dottiedodah · 01/07/2019 18:30

Can only use Baby Bath, as scented bath oils tend to set off irritation in certain area! Infa Care Ultra Mild is super bubbly and very gentle!

FrenchBoule · 01/07/2019 18:30

Lavender one from Asda. Smells great and doesn’t irritate my skin

Not bubbly but Penhaligon’s bath oil is lovely.

eateat · 01/07/2019 18:34

Wow, loads of suggestions! Thank you!

Yes @Itellpeopletogoogleit it's for chronic pain management. Once every night so I get a bit of relief to get to sleep. Sometimes one in the morning and sometimes in the afternoon or early hours if I'm having a particularly bad day.

Badedas, smells so clean even if it does look a bit like algae jelly

Nottobesoldseparately · 01/07/2019 19:15

Johnson's bedtime baby bath, might help you sleep.
Works wonders for me, and is what I use when my period pains are really bad.

I love badebas, radox and sanex which are all available in my local supermarkets.

And when I fancy something a bit different, I go to tx Maxx to see what they have in.

LuluBellaBlue · 01/07/2019 19:18

I’d be trying: Epsom salts, bensonite clay and magnesium.
All have massive health benefits

flipflopped · 01/07/2019 19:21

Another vote for Epsom salts here.
I often chuck some Epsom salts in AND bubble bath or a Lush bubble bar!
If anyone knows a Tropic ambassador I highly recommend their bubble bath - the coconut one is amazing. Not cheap but you only need a tiny drop and it smells divine.

Lydiaz · 01/07/2019 19:26

Was disappointed no one had said matey but kept scrolling and was no longer disappointed! @Sandybval

absolutelyknackeredcow · 01/07/2019 19:29

I have terrible joint pain (hip too) - often bath is only time not in pain.
I use Epsom salts too

Taytotots · 01/07/2019 19:39

Kneipp bath oils are great. They do a valerian one for sleep and the eucalyptus one is brilliant for colds. I think they do a muscle ache one too.

CampingUnderOakTrees · 01/07/2019 19:41

Neals yard Mother’s oil. Not really a bubble bath but all natural, organic and so relaxing.

LookBackInIngres · 01/07/2019 19:46

Algemarin. Is fabulous but hard to find in the uk. Good luck and stay strong.

BrendasUmbrella · 01/07/2019 19:52

My ultimate was the original green Radox, but of all varieties that seems to be the one Radox has done away with Angry

Second choice is Badedas.

Chloe9 · 01/07/2019 20:17

@PCohle

There is no cleaner feeling. It's my guilty pleasure Blush
It makes your skin feel so soft and smells so sterile. I'm sure it's not healthy though

sophiasnail · 01/07/2019 20:24

Another bather with hip problems here! My very favorite is Body Shop Pink Grapefruit. It is actually shower gel but I use it as bubble bath and it smells gorgeous.

I also like anything from treaclemoon.
