And why?

I have a problem with my joints (hips are the worst) and the only time I get significant pain relief is whilst I'm in the bath. I know it's not great for the environment but I have between 1-3 baths a day just to get some relief. If there were a more eco friendly way I would take it!

So. Lovely bubble bath suggestions please? Grin

Mine is Elmis Aching muscle soak but at £40 for 300ml it's not something I use unless someone buys it for me or I'm feeling flush. Works wonders on my arthritic body though. Otherwise the Radox muscle soak is what I use most.

If you can afford the Elmis it's definitely worth trying.

eateat · 01/07/2019 17:26

@nokidshere it's the sort of thing I would buy and use every other week :) thank you!

HopelessLayout · 01/07/2019 17:28

Badedas.

eateat · 01/07/2019 17:29

@MermaidUnicorn my local lush just closed 😭 but I always buy something when I am near one. I can't help myself!

Googling badedas

I’m into Dove at the moment for its lovely clean smell and bubbles

GrowThroughWhatYouGoThrough · 01/07/2019 17:36

I second badedas

Deadposhtory · 01/07/2019 17:38

I used to like Tesco value, but I think they have changed the recipe as not as bubbly as it was

TickleMyFanny · 01/07/2019 17:38

Fenjal

Ouchiebum · 01/07/2019 17:41

I’ve just bought some weleda bath milk and it’s amazing. The scent is beautiful and it doesn’t tail off when you’re in the bath like some cheaper ones do. Highly recommend

Lemoneeza · 01/07/2019 17:44

I've just treated myself to some soap and glory bubble bath today. love the smell.

also love badedas as previously mentioned. think it's particularly good for muscle aches.

oh and molton brown gingerlily is gorgeous.

dayswithaY · 01/07/2019 17:46

I second Fenjal, it's amazing.

Noroof · 01/07/2019 17:49

Clarins... there's a tonic one that's amber coloured and smells Devine

cccameron · 01/07/2019 17:49

Absolutely love Badedas

dudsville · 01/07/2019 17:53

If you want Cheap alternative I have an odd suggestion! I recently bought some plain (simple brand?) Shower gel. It was white and I assumed it was coconut. Anyway, plain and boring. I had some essential oil I hadn't been using so I tipped our into the bottle and gave it a good shake. I love it ! I'm going to do this in future. It provides a range of new possibilities to lavender, citrus and floral options.

HipHipHippo · 01/07/2019 17:59

Treaclemoon's gentle powder love. It's cheap and cheerful and I love the baby powder smell!!

florriepeck · 01/07/2019 18:02

An Epsom salts bath is good for pain relief.
Two pounds odd in Asda for a bag: add a couple of handfuls to the bath, and soak for twenty minutes.
Google the benefits of Epsom salts.

Nothingsuitsmelikeasuit · 01/07/2019 18:03

Johnson’s sleepytime baby bubble bath 🙈😂 I accidentally used it one morning and I was so sleepy all day, it really works on me!

Hp737 · 01/07/2019 18:03

Humble bath honey is so lovely smelling and nice consistency, not too gloopy/foamy or oily either. I like the rose/frankincense one. You can get it in Waitrose usually.

BlueMerchant · 01/07/2019 18:05

The Sanctuary bath elixir and bath float.
I also really love Avon bubble baths (large up to 1 litre) usually £2.50. Great scents.

FrankT · 01/07/2019 18:07

Lavender bubble bar from Lush. As a bonus - zero packaging; zero waste!

teenmum18 · 01/07/2019 18:07

Raddox muscle soak because it brought my labour on 😂 really good for joint pain too 👍🏼

Itellpeopletogoogleit · 01/07/2019 18:07

1-3 baths A DAY?!

Michelleoftheresistance · 01/07/2019 18:11

I hear you, baths for pain management here too, including the 4am ones... Flowers

M&S floral collection, lily of the valley is my absolute favourite - lovely light and fresh scent, very bubbly. The freesia, rose and honeysuckle in that range is also very nice, and they're not expensive either. A scatter of lavender Epsom salts in there too is also nice.

franklymydearidontgivea · 01/07/2019 18:13

Ragdale hall time to sleep lavender and chamomile from m and S.....I had a pink fit when they stopped doing it for a while , sweet fig and chamomile from Sainsbury's Calcot Spa was my reserve. Although when I'm feeling truly decadent it jo malone roses, which I am currently luxuriating in whilst typing 🌹🌹🌹
