To think you're all milling around in the middle of your living room to The Cure

There were numerous grumbles about Stormzy and even more about The Killers (did anyone see Jimmy Carr sweeping the stage?)

Complete radio silence about The Cure, though.

I am keeping my Ds awake apparently 😳. He has disturbed my sleep most night for 12 years though.

I saw them 30 years ago .

ColouringPencils · 30/06/2019 22:42

My husband is at The Cure tonight, but I am still catching up on previous events. Loving the BBC iPlayer coverage of everything this year. Watching Cat Power at my own personal Housetonbury right now Smile

LikeDolphinsCanSwin · 30/06/2019 22:43

I’m amazed by how good his voice is still.

ShowerOfShite · 30/06/2019 22:44

His voice is still great and I'll always have a soft spot for The Cure but this set isn't great.

mamalovebird · 30/06/2019 22:45

Fucking class. They sound fantastic and Robert Smith's voice is amazing. I wish I was there right now.

Cruddles · 30/06/2019 22:46

They played In Between Days and A Forest, I'm satisfied

ExtraFox19 · 30/06/2019 22:48

They were wonderful.

dontlikebeards · 30/06/2019 22:49

His voice is amazing, I'm really impressed, just waiting for Friday I'm In Love.

motorcyclenumptiness · 30/06/2019 22:51

No milling here, just a bit of nostalgic shoegazing

Prometheus · 30/06/2019 22:53

Loved that they played the song from The Crow soundtrack. Took me back to being 14........

welshweasel · 30/06/2019 22:53

We’ve just got home from Glastonbury so watching it on TV, kind of wish we’d stayed tonight but also nice to be home!

greeneyedlulu · 30/06/2019 22:55

It's all very odd, dear old Robert really does need to a good lip liner does wonders to stop that bleeding of your lippy!

PickAChew · 30/06/2019 22:55

His head voice is amazing. Still so fragile and expressive. He struggled with his chest voice, earlier, though.

CandiedSkulls · 30/06/2019 22:55

I don't really know who The Cure are..

I haven't watched any of the Glastonbury coverage though. I'm watching Good Omens on Amazon.

whippetwoman · 30/06/2019 22:56

I'm really rather enjoying their set to be honest and would be watching them if I were at Glastonbury. I did love them when I was younger though. His voice does sound the same. When we turned on, I did say to DP 'who's the old guy playing guitar with The Cure' then I realised he was just part of The Cure Grin

grafittiartist · 30/06/2019 22:56

I'm loving it! They sound wonderful as ever.

PickAChew · 30/06/2019 22:57

Lip liner? 😂🙄😅

Cherrysoup · 30/06/2019 22:57

Voice is exactly the same, very nostalgic. No big hits in the bit I watched. Dh a bit bemused, he was never a fan.

Cherrysoup · 30/06/2019 22:58

Hang on, there's more!

PickAChew · 30/06/2019 22:58

Good Omens is great stuff *candied"

Here we go

MsJudgemental · 30/06/2019 22:58

I’m sure that they had more hits...... the sound and his voice is good but he looks frightening.

MeganChips · 30/06/2019 23:01

I’m watching with wine but not dancing! A Forest is one of my all time favourite songs and I still get the fanny gallops for a man in eyeliner, 60 or not.

Pinkarsedfly · 30/06/2019 23:01

I think they’ve absolutely killed it. Amazing voice, phenomenal playing, brilliant set.

Just slightly worried now that Bob’s not well...
