Aibu to find this heat too much. I am so not a summer person, love the actual summer holidays but not the hot weather. Melting here already at 25 degrees and climbing.

Of course YANBU to feel how you feel, but it’s 43 here and I’d be glad to trade with you!

Yabbers · 29/06/2019 13:29

I used to envy the heat lovers.

The I realised I’m comfortable for 90% of the year and only have to endure hot weather for a few days. 😄

Next time someone complains about the cold weather come winter I'm going to say "ohhhh no it's LOVELY you're crazy it's so nice...people need to stop moaning when it's a tiny bit mild. Your body's reaction to this cold is invalid" /sarcasm

It's only one blood day here (midlands) Hmm This is it. This is our 'heat wave'.

It began at about 10am this morning and will fizzle out at about midnight tonight. Back to 21 tomorrow.

I Love the heat. WHERE is our summer ????

Laiste · 29/06/2019 13:31

bloody day, not blood day Grin

Vanderlylecrybabygeek · 29/06/2019 13:33

Not a massive fan as I’m a fatty (16-18). But it’s better these days than when I was younger as there are much more summer clothes for larger ladies and I’m not longer the only fat lady in town

Hedgehogblues · 29/06/2019 13:33

Considering how it was last summer I can't really complain about it

Yabbers · 29/06/2019 13:35

The British are so lame and moany when it comes to the weather.

They are also lame and moany about people complaining about the weather. I hear far more of that than of people actually complaining about the weather.

CloserIAm2Fine · 29/06/2019 13:46

YANBU it’s much too hot if you actually have to do anything more than laze in it

I’m very happy that my flat doesn’t get the afternoon sun so stays at a comfortable temperature! Previously I’ve lived somewhere this kind of heat would be unbearable (top floor and afternoon sun with tiny opening windows).

SoupDragon · 29/06/2019 13:47

I've not seen many (any?) threads complaining about people complaining about the weather.

Lot of the "larger than life" crowd outing themselves here.

Jeremybearimybaby · 29/06/2019 13:55

Oh I dunno, I'd quite like some sun... Grin

I like the weather but I do see what you mean. I’m one of those people who get hot easily so the high temperatures mean I get slightly sweaty, but also flustered with a headache easily! But I can cope with that as I can finally get to wear my summer clothes

ladylunchalot · 29/06/2019 14:02

Come to Scotland, warm weather never hangs around for long. It's back to usual today, raining on and off and cloudy. It's about 20 here so my shorts are back in the drawer. Always the same when the schools break up for summer (ours finished up yesterday!).

ohtheholidays · 29/06/2019 14:06

I love the summer and the hot weather but even I'm finding today a bit to much,it's 33 here and I could really do with a lay down in a cool room but it's DS2's 21'st birthday today so were all celebrating whilst melting.

nauseous5000 · 29/06/2019 14:08

I hate it. I don't feel the cold and don't own a winter coat, so this time of year is utterly miserable

booksandcaffeine · 29/06/2019 14:09

It's making me feel ill 🤒

IamnotaStepfordHousewife · 29/06/2019 14:12

31 degrees now and waiting to get my nails done as had prebooked an appointment and now melting!!! Ijust don't cope with heat whereas my husband and son are fine in it.

I could not love it more. Been lying around in the garden, now sitting the conservatory chatting to my mum. All doors open, garden looking beautiful.

I love this weather.

TakenForSlanted · 29/06/2019 14:12

I've decided I'm going to work tomorrow.

Yes, I know it's a Sunday.

But my office has functioning AC.

Pinkfinkle · 29/06/2019 14:13

28 degrees here, it’s stifling but not set to last. Says 21 for the next couple of days which is more bearable. I’m not a fan of the heat at all, never have been.

This weather would be great if I was on the beach. In sweltering London, not so much.

The only problem with that is that they will probable the same people that complain about pleasantly warm weather too.

firstimemamma · 29/06/2019 14:30

I hate it and it always makes me worry about my baby! Yanbu!
