Posting for traffic really;
Just that really, if you work part time,
What or how many days do you work?
What do you do?

I’m a teacher and I work 2 days (Monday and Tuesday)one week and 3 days (weds,Thurs and Friday) the next week (in rotation)

I work 5 days Monday to Friday 9 to 2. I work in an accountant's office.

lpchill · 20/06/2019 17:41

I work 6 hours on a Friday as my core hours then cover shifts for others 3 hrs in evenings and sometimes weekend events 6hrs. I work for a charity as a youth worker. Love my job.

Hoolahoophop · 20/06/2019 17:44

Mon and Wed 8.30 - 5.30 hr management

Isthebigwomanhere · 20/06/2019 17:45

I work Tues /Wednesday and Saturday/Sunday
I'm in hospitality

EmeraldShamrock · 20/06/2019 17:45

I work 3 night shifts, 10 hours per shift in a busy call centre.
It is not ideal but necessary for finanicial reasons and child care, DP works 5 days a week but they vary and usually include at least one weekend day.

gingerbiscuits · 20/06/2019 17:46

I'm a Primary School TA in yr6 & work 4 full days but I'm flexible about which ones so although my day off is usually a Wednesday, I often swap if there's something going on where it'd be handy for me to be there. I really like a day off mid-week - most of the other part timers have either Mon or Fri but I'm not fussed what day it is!!

DisneyMillie · 20/06/2019 17:47

Management in an accountancy firm - tues, thurs, fri - that way I’m never out of the office too long or away from the kids too long

Raffles1981 · 20/06/2019 17:49

I work 16 hours:
Monday - 07.45am to 12.45pm
Tuesday - 07.45am to 14.45pm
Thursday - 07.45am to 12.45pm
I work for a local butcher.

Crunchymum · 20/06/2019 17:54

Financial administrator, 3 days per week (Mon, Tues, Weds). 9.30am-5pm.

Did do Weds, Thurs, Fri before DC3 but now older 2 kids are school age, I need the latter part of the week for homework / washing uniforms etc. Also it's nice to get my working week out of the way!!!

Mammyloveswine · 20/06/2019 17:54

I'm a teacher and work 5 mornings...would much rather 3 days....

orangesandlemon · 20/06/2019 17:56

I'm on 5 mornings- moving to 3 days as it's just not working for me. I feel like I do the same amount of full time hours

mogloveseggs · 20/06/2019 17:57

Hotel Receptionist. 3 x 8 hour shifts a week either 6-2 or 2-10.
Rarely do basic hours though there's always more to be done.

musicposy · 20/06/2019 17:57

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Weird hours though, early morning, big gap then afternoon to about 9pm. Basically mainly out of school hours.

I often think I might like to work Tues-Thurs instead because I would have more freedom for long weekends if I had Monday off. I do like my Thursdays though; it's a nice quiet day to be off.

Writing this I'm thinking that working only Tues and Weds would be ideal!

iamruth · 20/06/2019 17:57

I do four days 9.30-2.30 plus the odd weekend morning

SockQueen · 20/06/2019 17:58

Weds-Fri, standard hours are 7.30-5.30 but also do some long days, some nights and weekends (days or nights). Average just under 29 hours a week.

MintedLamb · 20/06/2019 18:00

welshgirl1980 · 20/06/2019 18:01

WookieWoo · 20/06/2019 18:04
