Posting for traffic really;
Just that really, if you work part time,
What or how many days do you work?
What do you do?

I’m a teacher and I work 2 days (Monday and Tuesday)one week and 3 days (weds,Thurs and Friday) the next week (in rotation)

4 days a week Tues-Fri (Friday is working from home). I work 8-4 generally but it is flexitime so doesn't really matter.

I wanted Monday's off so that I benefit from having the bank holidays added onto my AL.

MinnieMountain · 20/06/2019 19:20

Long half day Tuesday, 9-5 Wednesday and Thursday.
I'm a conveyancing solicitor.

Chasingsquirrels · 20/06/2019 19:23

Currently 24 hrs, officially 9.30am - 2.30pm Monday to Thursday with the remaining hours made up within office hours. I usually work till 3.30pm, but sometimes work Fridays or get in earlier.

Nalaking · 20/06/2019 19:28

Mon-Fri 5-7.30 as a cleaner

Then as a support worker, Thurs/Fri 7-2.30 one week then the following week Sat/Sun 2.30-10

MamaFlintstone · 20/06/2019 19:28

I work 30 hours over Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Accountant. Having Wednesday as my non-working day breaks the week up nicely!

HMBB · 20/06/2019 19:37

I do 21 hours a week in an office (mostly). During term time I do 4 x 5.25 hour days so I can do drop off and pick up and during holidays I do 3 x 7 days as it makes childcare easier.

Merryoldgoat · 20/06/2019 19:41

Tues Wed Thurs 8 hours a day. Finance Manager in a school. Lots of flexibility and I’m paid for overtime.

Love my job.

bettycat81 · 20/06/2019 19:41

Job #1 1 day a week (I work every other weekend) 8-12hours a day.

Job #2 three mornings a week. Mon, thurs and friday.

Job #3 I'm self employed and work in between. Around 10hrs a week.

Emmapeeler · 20/06/2019 19:42

I work Weds-Fri 9:30-5. I like Monday’s off and Fridays in the office but I am totally shattered all day Saturday.

ScrumpyBetty · 20/06/2019 19:43

Tuesdays 9-2
Thursdays and Fridays 9-5
I work in mental health

BooseysMom · 20/06/2019 19:44

I work Mon, Tues, Thurs. 9.15 - 2.45. I love it. Wed is the best day to have off as it's quiet and i get the shopping done.
Worked f/t for 20 yrs then had DS and swapped jobs to NHS admin just 5 mins drive away. After commuting long distances for years i finally got lucky! The only issue is i can't get any more hours and the pay is dire being NHS admin. But can't see the point of moving to a job further away for more money as that soon gets used on travel

MrsPworkingmummy · 20/06/2019 19:46

I'm a teacher working 4 days Monday to Thursday. I get to school for 8.30 and on Monday and Wednesday work until 5.30. On Tuesday I leave at 3.30 and on Thursday I leave at 4.

bridgetreilly · 20/06/2019 19:57

AxCap · 20/06/2019 20:07

Previously Mon - Thurs, 9 - 5 in an accounting firm.

Now it varies depending on workload/what suits me but mainly Mon - Wed, 830 - 4 and will change to do 21 hours over 4 days when DC start school to allow for pick ups. Still an accountant but now industry based.

RedTrek · 20/06/2019 20:12

Retail, I can choose to suit myself so I generally do Mon, Wed, Fri & Sat. Will swap Fri for Sun when we do Sunday opening (I prefer to have my days off in the week when it is quieter & now DS is 18 he doesn’t want me to be around & DH & I are not that fussed about spending time together Grin.)

MaryShelley1818 · 20/06/2019 21:12

I work for the Local Authority Children’s SS and do 30hrs over 3 days - Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
I love having Mondays off and also don’t mind working Fridays as everyone is in a good mood 😄 Much prefer this pattern to 3 days in a row as have an 18mth old.

WaxOnFeckOff · 20/06/2019 21:13

I work 93% of full time hours but work a 9 day fortnight with every 2nd Monday off. Just started it a couple of months ago and really like it.
