To think xenogenders are a load of tosh?

I read this Quora answer and was bewildered to learn of all these new genders:

Seagender? Canisgender? Numbergender? Am I misunderstanding something here? Are these real? They sound like something invented by a self-dramatizing 14 year old with an interest in writing fantasy fiction and not enough ordinary social interaction.

I would genuinely, seriously like to know if you, or anyone you know, actually identifies as xenogender. How do these genders effect sexual encounters or anything whatsoever in that person's life? How can they tell that's their gender and not just a preference for a hobby, for instance? What's the point?

I don't want to be dismissive of new ideas and social changes, but from what I read here, not one of these would pass the oh-don't-be-so-silly test. AIBU?

Thing is, this sort of batshittery has always been around in one form or another. The difference now is if you laugh at it then you're a bigot who should probably get fired and go to jail.
