Jegging
Tregging
Coatigan
Shacket

Etc. I don't know why they bother me so much but they make me wince. Anyone else?

Like those ridiculous blanket scarves - clearly They are scankets, no?

However, despite their complete uselessness as an item of clothing, I did buy two really lovely soft ones in matalan that I use as throws on my armchairs - they were reduced to about £5 each and are almost identical to posh ones I saw in TK for £££

Spam duffin! That's it. I knew I'd made cruffin up Grin

Slankets are the blankets with armholes, for lounging in front of the Telly of a winter’s evening. Toasty!

What about those uni-boots that used to be advertised in handy-household-catologues?
The one big boot with fur-lining. They must have a name...

I always picture dear old Auntie Mavis, stricken, by the fireplace, having gone to make a cuppa, during the ads on Corrie, only to forget she was wearing her uni-boot. Cursing that “ever-so-handy” Christmas gift from her Great-nephew, Tim. The bastard! 😂

SpamChaudFroid · 14/06/2019 11:39

I can see why though mud, they have more of a croissant like texture. I really want a cruffin/duffin now, but I've only ever seen them at Easter. Why the hell is that!?

DontCallMeShitley · 14/06/2019 12:51

Of course, a mandigan to cover the moobs.

Gth1234 · 14/06/2019 12:56

Lewis Carroll invented portmanteau words.
You have to pick the right two words.

I thought this style of making up words became popular about 20/30 years ago. Suddenly in conversations everywhere, socially and at work, people started saying things like "he's like a brother, but a romance, bromance if you will", as if it was clever. I've just realised I've heard very little of this style of talking recently. Hopefully it's dying out.

DS enjoys a Hamwich and a Homlette. He likes to combine animal names to make freaky new breeds too... maybe he'll end up in the fashion business..!

Branleuse · 15/06/2019 17:13
