Poll: Sleep naked or in night clothes

Just curious so posting for traffic.

I've slept naked since I was about 14. Can't abide having clothes on in bed. If I'm staying at someone else's house, I'll have some nearby for nighttime loo visits.

Was the post on jammies in supermarkets with people referring to sets to sleep in.

No one in my family has ever slept with clothes on other than my mother. DH sleeps naked as does apparently all of his family.

It amuses me on TV when you see people in bed in jammies or similar especially if they have just apparently been having sex.

I slept naked for years, only covering up if we had guests. Nowadays it's pjs or nighties, fluffy socks and a sweatshirt if it's cold.
Romance buggered off years ago and, shock/horror I slept alone which is utterly blissful 😀

DS1 is the opposite and likes to be wrapped up. DS2 is like me and would live in the nip if it was acceptable.

I can't sleep without a cover of some sort over me though. In hot weather, it'll just be a sheet.

Being naked and having no cover over me makes me feel strangely vulnerable and stops me sleeping.

I used to sleep naked for a while as a teen but when I was about 14 our house got broken into. Nothing terrible happened, but I'll always remember waking up but not knowing what to do. At the time the though of been seen naked was the most embarrassing thing ever, so in the end I just lay still and pretend I was asleep (they didn't come upstairs).

I felt so ashamed the next day when the police came out, I didn't want to explain about the naked thing so lied and said I hadn't heard anything. Still feel kind of bad about it 15 years later.

I used to sleep naked until I was woken by a burglar shining a torch round the bedroom. I immediately got up and chased him out and was out the front door going down the path when I realised I was naked.

I slept naked from my teens until about a year ago. Now I wear PJ bottoms and a vest.

I still miss the 'freedom' of being naked and sometimes don't like the feeling of clothes twisting around me, but I find it very relaxing to think that I could leap out of bed without having to grab for a dressing gown if the postman came at sparrow-fart or whatever.

Depends on the temperature. When it's cold I like pj bottoms with nightdress , as weather improves I discard the bottoms then the nightdress, tending to sleep in my pants when it's warm

It depends. My default is naked.

Once in a while I wake up in the night feeling cold (don’t like a drought/cold air on my neck) so I’ll put on a tee shirt. If it’s very cold I might wear pyjamas to go to sleep but then I usually wake up in the night feeling too hot and take them off.

Forgot to say I use my pyjamas/dressing gown as loungewear. I wear them to feel comfy and relaxed of an evening, or when I’m having a lazy weekend morning,

Me naked, DH just wears boxer shorts. I hate sleeping in pajamas or nighties I get all tangled up.

PJs and sometimes a sweater on top in winter. Plus fluffy bed socks. I'm actually so bad I also have night-time bras and underwear too.

Like another PP, I'm a bit of a never-nude and the thoughts of being naked are enough to make me shudder. DH would never wear clothes if he had his way, we are complete opposites in that respect.
