Luther vandross dead?

Walkamileinmyshoesbeforeujudge · 11/06/2019 08:57

Luther died 1/7/05

ParanoidGynodroid · 11/06/2019 09:04

Ah, it seems that Laura Branigan died in her sleep from a brain aneurysm without having been ill first. Went to bed, apparently well, and never woke up. Only 52.

That’s kinda scary.

RabbityMcRabbit · 11/06/2019 09:25

@FenellaVelour oh gosh!!

WhatchaMaCalllit · 11/06/2019 13:37

Bill Paxton - www.imdb.com/name/nm0000200/?ref_=tt_cl_t2

Loved him in Apollo 13 and Twister.

I am so bad at getting him and Bill Pullman mixed up. Pullman is still alive (at time of writing this) - www.imdb.com/name/nm0000597/?ref_=nv_sr_1?ref_=nv_sr_1 - loved him in Independence Day.

Lifecraft · 11/06/2019 13:42

Henry VIII. I just can't take it in, he always seemed larger than life.

kelper · 11/06/2019 13:54

Jeremy Beadle died the day my son was born, which explains an awful lot with regards to my son if i was to believe in reincarnation.
Someone my facebook posted a link the other day about Roger Moore dying, I had to go and google because I was sure he'd died a couple of years ago. I was correct, but it threw me for a second.

SachaStark · 11/06/2019 13:59

Bill Paxton is dead?!?! What? I can't believe I missed that.

Bumsnet69 · 11/06/2019 14:09

Always forget about Chester Bennington and Chris Cornell Sad

Pringlefan · 11/06/2019 14:16

Alan Rickman also.Sad

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 11/06/2019 14:25

DH is regularly convinced that Mr T is dead. He's not... Hmm

Lifecraft · 11/06/2019 14:26

Always forget about Chester Bennington and Chris Cornell

I've forgotten those 2 were ever alive. Who are they?

Crazycatlady10 · 11/06/2019 14:30

Bob Hoskins, Rik Mayall, Cheggers, poor Anton Yelchin, that was just awful

NaughtToThreeSadOnions · 11/06/2019 14:39

Pretty sure Richard Osman is still alive
Thanks for clarifying
I thought i'd missed something today

mabel neither Richard Osman or Alexander Armstrong are dead.

Richard Osman was tweetinng literslly five minutes ago twitter.com/richardosman/status/1138439377439342593?s=09

Alex was tweeting 3 days ago. Of course he could have died in the last 3 days but we'd have heard twitter.com/XanderArmstrong/status/1137332142437011457?s=09

LoveMySituation · 11/06/2019 15:22

Chester Bennington was the singer in Linkin Park, died 2017, and Chris Cornell was in Soundgarden, died a year earlier. They were good friends, and died similarly

LimeKiwi · 11/06/2019 15:30

This thread is getting as bad as Twitter for prematurely bumping people off Grin
Richard O and Alex A still very much going!

LimeKiwi · 11/06/2019 15:30
Al203 · 11/06/2019 15:32

I’m the other way also.

At the weekend I looked out into deep space with my home telescope and I noticed NGC 227481 twinkling so brightly then I suddenly realised that it died out nearly 200 million years ago as a massive super nova.

I miss it, but kind of don’t miss it, if you see what I mean.

PatchworkElmer · 11/06/2019 15:35

Terry Wogan 😢

Lifecraft · 11/06/2019 15:44

Noooooo!! I fucking loved NGC 227481. I knew it was dead but I'd forgotten. I can't believe it was 200m years ago, seems like no more that 150m. Where does the time go?

Graphista · 11/06/2019 15:52

Ffs I'd no idea Bob Hoskins had died either! Nor that he led such a varied interesting life.

sheepysheep · 11/06/2019 16:00

Delores from the Cranberries - she was young and died alone in a hotel. Seems a really sad way to go.

Al203 · 11/06/2019 16:05

Henry VIII. I just can't take it in, he always seemed larger than life.

I loved his impression of Brian Blessed...."Off with her head". That was his catchphrase. So many memories of my middle ages.

ParanoidGynodroid · 11/06/2019 16:12

AI123 and Lifecraft 😂

BeyondMyWits · 11/06/2019 16:13

Anton Yelchin - we watched Star Trek Beyond the other day and it made me cry to look at him and think - that young bloke is dead now.
