Carrie Fisher. Then I remember Debbie Reynolds died a day later Sad

2016 just seemed to be “that” year for deaths. My beloved grandad died early on in the year and every time another celebrity death was announced we’d say it was “the year the legends died”

Of course illness or accidents are deeply sad but accidental overdoses... I’m thinking of Tom Petty and Carrie Fisher here

I thought Carrie Fisher was natural causes? Heart/lung thing or something?

The ones who were old (Bruce had had a long career and had retired) are easier to think about than those struck down young, Victoria Wood is the one that gets me, well and those who died prematurely of illness rather than the long list of "celebrities" who deaths were somewhat self inflicted. Too many people listed here took drugs !

Emma Chambers (Alice in the Vicar of Dibley) and John Heard (the dad in Home Alone), Keith are a couple I always do a double-take with.

@stucknoue the question had nothing about who’s death was ‘sadder’ it was asking who we had forgotten about.

I certainly forgot about Dale Winton if I ever knew.
Never forget about David Bowie, he was one of my favourites and I grew up listening to him, love labyrinth and I still get a bit sad when I play one of his songs.
