AIBU to ask what you think is the greatest movie/tv sex scene ever?

Been chatting to some friends about this and we came up with ones from Fatal Attraction (sink scene), Brokeback Mountain, GoT (all of them ) and Pretty Little Liars amongst others. What was interesting was how some favourites did nothing for others. And some were unanimously agreed to be hot as hell.

Which ones do it for you?

Yes! Love them. Also Betty and Jughead in Riverdale! They are together in real life too and their chemistry is off the scale.

Agree with the wedding episode in Outlander.

Also the scene in 6 Days Seven Nights where Harrison Ford and Anne Hecht have escaped from the pirates by the skin of their teeth, washed up on the sand and fall on each other. It's just a kiss, but oooooh...

And the scene in the rehab centre in House where House has sex with a woman whose name escapes me while he's sitting on a hardback chair. It's so real.

Definitely Outlander S1 episodes 7,8,9 & 10 and turtle soup in S3.
And the amazon ad for it is hilarious too.

Seems like we are in agreement that 50 shades didn't arouse us.

Fond memories of Moonlighting (a very PG scene because network TV but very effective).

Can’t believe nobody’s mentioned Buddy and Spike bringing the house down. It’s the look on his face... The rushes from that day are available on YouTube and it’s fascinating viewing, almost like an art installation: Whedon always used to praise the actors’ professionalism and looking at take after take after take after take shows you exactly what he meant (without diminishing the effect of the finished product).

Not a sex scene at all but there's a bit in one of the Lord of The Rings films when Aragon flings open some doors that is unbelievably sexy.

Another one for The June and Nick first time on Handmaids. She NEEDED that, on so so so many levels. She needed to be free and to make that choice and be a sexual being instead of a slave, her sense of liberation combined with desire was so intense. The tension had been building between them to the point I was somehow surprised when they actually got down to it. Plus Max Minghella is ridiculously hot, so that helped.

Spike and Buffy fucking the house down in season 6. I love how she finally takes what she wants. Literally she chucks him about. And my knees go rather weak at his look of awestruck devotion. The whole kink thing went downhill after but that first time...shivers...

Depends whether you mean explicit by great. Some of the greatest love scenes ever depicted are in classic Bollywood movies but these are metaphorical rather than explicit.
