There's a village fair starting in twenty minutes literally a two minute walk from my front door.

It's sunny, I've nothing pressing to do, they may sell plants Smilebut am shaking at thought of walking out the door on my own.

Recently separated from an abuser. But thought I was "getting there" then this !!

Is it worth putting myself through feeling this sick ?

So you told yourself you’d go for a short while and you did. You wanted to buy a plant and you did. You bought lots of plants. And a book. And a cake. You stayed out long enough to do this and have a conversation with stall holders. OP, you are simply brilliant. Much love to you, a fellow anxiety sufferer. Smile

@TheGardenisMine hello lovely, just wanted to check in and see how you're doing?
I hope life is a little easier for you now, and you've been able to enjoy the sunshine.

Aw brilliant OP. I've just read through the thread hoping that you'd go. Delighted to see that you did and that you got a few bargain purchases too.
You should be proud of yourself x Smile

Well done to the OP.

I've been in the same boat. I lost so much confidence and didn't do anything myself. When we split up I felt confined to the house but made plans that I was going to do a 2 hour drive to a ski resort and ski myself... I'm not even a skier to an extent. so it was a huge step. I woke up that morning and I talked myself out of it, but 30 mins later changed my mind again and went. I was so proud of myself. After that I've been to the cinema myself, lunch, shopping. Its so empowering. You go girl!!!

Well done OP! Even if I am late to the party Smile it’s very uplifting to read these littl successes!

Sometimes it can feel like everyone’s looking at you (I know I’ve felt like that before) but honestly people are usually just absorbed in what they’re doing and busy thinking about what they’re doing!

And would also love photos of plants! I am a crap gardner. Well, I suspect I would be. And worms scare me.
