The attack on two tankers in the Gulf of Oman, blamed on Iran by the US, may not have been torpedos but undersea magnetic mines. Iran has rejected claims they are responsible. Interestingly, Japan’s PM Abe is currently visiting Iran on a diplomatic mission, delivering a message on behalf of Trump (!!]. Apparently Iran has rejected this message. The tankers, also, were full of Japanese goods.

Anyone else thinks Iran (and we) are being royally fucked?
And when I say royally, it might actually involve a certain royal house in the region.

The first thing I did was wonder "why would Iran do that, and in particular why now?" Then I remembered the run-up to the Iraq war and all the hot air from the USA about how evil people in Iraq were doing evil things and had to be stopped and no it wasn't about the oil at all honest, and felt even less inclined to accept it was Iran who did it.

In trumps mind the law is a tool that he uses to control his subjects, the very idea that he should be subject to it is preposterous, they are the plebs and he is the king, he can do what he likes, it's obvious

After all, Trump is making the sacrifice of being President, having to live in the WH, no time for golf or tv, having had to separate from his businesses. Why should he be scrutinised on top of all that?
