In a recent interview Boris was asked what his hobbies were. He had no ready answer, so then said he made models of buses out of cardboard boxes. You could see him making it up as he went along, then he gilded the lily by saying he paints passengers on them. There will be a clip somewhere, worth a look.

Naturally, Twitter went wild with mockery, and of course referred to his painting abut the NHS on the side of the infamous Brexit bus. My favourite was this (watch after you've seen the original interview clip): - which has some sweary words in it. You might need to turn the sound up. Or I may be getting more deaf.

I'm sorry for my digression, I'll go away now as the reality of Trump is too much for me still, even though I can't hear it.

Boris is like Trump when he gives interviews, The both look like they are making it up, while being extremely vague and liable to speak in strange and irrelevant sound bites.

Exactly Silvery. The nonsense and rambling delivery allows a lot of space to retreat should they be called on anything.

OYBBK He (or someone on his staff) deletes these kinds of tweets routinely. But not fast enough that third parties don't get hold of them first and retweet and write articles 'featuring' them. Wink

Of course, then he just claims it's 'fake news'.
