Taking scales on holiday?

I know this is a bit batshit but I'm thinking of taking a set of scales on holiday with me as I put on weight stupidly easily and there aren't any in apartment we're staying in. Will that cause any problems with airport security do you think?

What are you going to do if the scales show you have put 1lb on. Would you fast on holiday? If so, I would really resent being on holiday with you.

Eating out and trying food you wouldn't normally eat at home, is a large part of the holiday.

Instead of looking forward to going to a nice restaurant, are you going to sit there pushing salad leaves around your plate whilst your travelling companion tries to enjoy their meal?

"Can't you tell from how your clothes fit and your face looks like? Drink lots of water"

No, you can't tell if you've put on a few pounds from your clothes or you face.

cccameron high calcium can be a sign of primary hyperparathyroidism which is an Endocrine disorder. One of the symptoms can be weight gain. How low is your blood calcium? Too low can be as dangerous as too high. But it wouldn't lead to weight gain. Was your thyroid removed and they took out parathyroid glands by mistake? Or is it genetic?

I weigh every day, but I use an app called Happy Scale which smoothes the fluctuations and shows the underlying trends. You can't put on 3lbs of fat in a day. Water for sure, but not fat
