We had tagliatelle bolognese :)

donotcovertheradiator · 28/05/2019 18:08

Pigs' Cheeks, Turnip Puree and Pickled Cherries.

It's a recipe from Olive and it makes a fabulous mid week dish when it's cold outside, as it is here, even though it's nearly June!

MyCatHatesEverybody · 28/05/2019 18:42

Shop bought lasagne, potato wedges and side salad.

Mango Glazed Halloumi Burgers with Sweet Pot Chips and Raita - Hello Fresh recipe.
Work FT but not this week
Just cook for DH and me - kids ate earlier - Spaghetti and Meatballs

cricketmum84 · 28/05/2019 19:04

Jackfruit chilli here made by my lovely DH. I'll be having it with salad, a handful of Doritos and some dairy free grated cheese! He's not veggie so had made himself a small beef chilli.

Our DCs are away on holiday with GPs for the week and I'm finding it really hard to cook for just the two of us! It's lovely having some time together with no distractions though :)

umberellaonesie · 28/05/2019 19:05

Dirty Cajun rice

mamaduckbone · 28/05/2019 19:06

Tagliatelle with chicken and tomato and mascarpone sauce. I had my chicken with the sauce and salad which was lovely (attempting half heartedly to low carb but ate half a ton of cookie dough this afternoon whilst baking)

MysweetAudrina · 28/05/2019 19:35

Striploin steak with garlic and pepper butter, asparagus, tenderstem broccoli, green beans, mangetout and mushrooms. I have chicken and oven baked homemade potato chunks on for the kids.

JenMumma · 28/05/2019 19:38

Bangers and mash with onion gravy 😁

SusanneLinder · 28/05/2019 19:42

Bangers and mash here too, but we are eating speciality sausages. Tomorrows is pasta bolognese. Already starting making that as am working late tomorrow.

AHobbyaweek · 28/05/2019 19:44

Chicken and chorizo risotto here. Work FT and DH is a SAHP but I cook 80% of the time as we want edible food.

Norugratsatall · 28/05/2019 19:47

Sweet potato and cashew nut curry. It was hot!!

SusieOwl4 · 28/05/2019 19:51

homemade chicken and apricot curry and rice all cooked together in my Heston pressure cooker . only one pot to wash up (:

EerieSilence · 28/05/2019 19:55

DD came back from outside late so it was just fried egg with a toast on the side. I normally just put in a slice of good quality bread into the pan, fry it on hot butter or hot oil and then put in an egg on the side. She loves it.
Tomorrow I'm going to make buckwheat pasta with bacon, sundried tomatoes and cream sauce, topped with cheese.
Sometimes I take chicken thighs, shortly brown them in a pressure pot, add onion, garlic, rosemary an then I would add sundried tomatoes, canned tomatoes, salt, pepper and some water and then pressure cook them for 26 minutes. Very yummy and fast, it almost takes it longer to debone and de-skin them (I have a spoilt family who don't like picking bones).

maddiemookins16mum · 28/05/2019 19:58

Pork chop, salad and new potatoes.

CherryPavlova · 28/05/2019 20:02

On my own tonight so a simple plate of salmon fillet in sweet chilli with leftover jerseys, homemade guacamole and sweet corn salsa with a carrot slaw.

user1497787065 · 28/05/2019 20:09

Romano pepper and herb penne from Mary Berry's Quick
cooking

DarklyDreamingDexter · 28/05/2019 20:12

We had chicken jambalaya done in the slow cooker.

Ninkaninus · 28/05/2019 20:16

Too late for tonight’s inspiration, but we had pan-fried megrin sole with jersey royals and a big pile of green beans. Sauce made with butter, lemon and lots of parsley. It was beautiful! Next time I’m going to add some capers as well.

Napqueen1234 · 28/05/2019 20:17

Aubergine parmegiano with garlic bread Grin

Eliza9919 · 28/05/2019 20:22

Lasagna and garlic bread.
I'm being lazy though, it's a frozen slimming world one.

DP will probably have curry or pizza subs, again from the freezer.

historygeek · 28/05/2019 20:26

We had chicken breast marinated in yoghurt, harrisa and honey with cous cous with roasted veg (peppers aubergine, courgette, onions and cherry toms mixed through. Serves with some left over hummus. Delish and vaguely healthy.... With a doughnut for dessert!

hookiwooki · 28/05/2019 20:26

@Chelsea26 I've screenshotted all of that, it sounds amazing. You sound like me with quantities. I usually write "add to taste" or "until desired consistency is reached" after the ingredients in my recipe book Grin

Thank you very much, and I hope you're all well soon.

Mumofboys95 · 28/05/2019 21:57

We had fajita pasta with salad and potato slices. And the dc had turkey dinosaurs and potato slices as the fajita pasta was too spicy they say

IJumpedAboardAPirateShip · 29/05/2019 01:53

DD chose fennel, lentil and seaweed soup out of the new HFW veg book

I hate the inverse snobbery on these threads, making everyone seem stupid for cooking their dinner instead of shoving freezer food in the oven. Fine to do either or both or whatever but keep your judgey pants off
