Honeylulu's hoisin chicken wraps today I reckon!

I can't wait, they sound delicious.

graziemille567 · 29/05/2019 08:51

We've got some lamb meatballs (not homemade!) in the fridge defrosting - easy tea with some toasted pita breads, leftover couscous salad from yesterday and herby yoghurt.

hellooosweetheart · 29/05/2019 10:43

Roast veg with baked eggs here. We're on a strict budget

HasThisSoddingNameGoneToo · 29/05/2019 11:17

I'm making this Chicken & Potato Bake tonight. I'm kind of "meh" about it but DH absolutely loves it.

The DC are having an early tea of their favourite treat meal - Chicken Kiev and noodles. I'd rather have that.

Morgan12 · 29/05/2019 15:43

Any chance we can keep this going for tonight? I got some great ideas yesterday.

Tonight is peppercorn chicken with onion rings and crispy potatoes.

EmrysAtticus · 29/05/2019 15:46

Veggie lasagne tonight with garlic bread and salad but cheating with jar sauces!

Ninkaninus · 29/05/2019 15:47

Tonight I’m doing a butter chicken curry with chicken thighs, accompanied by roasted cauliflower, broccoli and carrots (with cumin, Garam masala and lemon).

Rice on the side for my OH.

Polarbearflavour · 29/05/2019 15:47

Quorn korma with mushrooms and pepper.

LakieLady · 29/05/2019 15:49

Chicken risotto.

RebeccaWrongDaily · 29/05/2019 16:03

i'm emptying the fridge... holiday looming!
left over roast chicken, marinaded anchovies, salad, jacket potatoes, rocket, courgette and goats cheese frittata. I think i've some olives and hummus open- Not sure how much of this the children will eat, i'll grate some cheese and maybe pop a pizza in to go with it? They had a decent lunch, so i'm happy for them to have a picky tea. (they will maybe eat half the inside of half a jacket potato, none of the frittata, very little salad, none of the fish)

MyCatHatesEverybody · 29/05/2019 16:07

Hong Kong tomato pork chops with rice, courtesy of DH as I'm recovering from surgery and can't cook at the moment.

IHaveBrilloHair · 29/05/2019 16:28

Veg biryani with mango chutney/mixed pickle/raita and poppadoms for scooping.

IHaveBrilloHair · 29/05/2019 16:32

One of our favourite junk dinners is chicken supernoodles with mini Kievs on top, food of the godsGrin

nokidshere · 29/05/2019 17:18

I'm having lamb tagine with cous cous tonight, it's cooking as I type and smells delicious. I have no idea what the rest of my family are having, they can do their own. (DH veggie, DS high protein)

DeadDoorpost · 29/05/2019 17:19

Spicy cheesy pasta. Bil is making a tomato sauce for his pasta as he doesn't like cheese sauces.

cricketmum84 · 29/05/2019 17:37

Chickpea and spinach curry with broccoli rice. No cooking required just reheating as it's leftovers from a batch I made last week and portioned and froze. Lovely for a lazy evening!

GeorgiaTrotmansParachute · 29/05/2019 17:39

Rather boring but had the ingredients to hand so have made a batch of spaghetti bolognese. In my defence it's smelling lovely - nice splash of chianti, loads of fresh tomatoes, garlic and basil. We will have some for dinner tonight and they rest will be frozen in portions to use another time.

Yes! I'm in as I love these threads.

DCs just had chicken and veg soup. I stewed rhubarb and strawberries for pudding but didn't add an entire packet of sugar, so it went down like a lead balloon! Oh well. More for me.

I have no idea what to feed DH and me and I have a class later, so it might be store-cupboard pasta tonight...

You see, this is exactly why I need this thread! I even went to the shops today bought the aforementioned tub of soup the ingredients to make soup, but was in a bit of a mad rush, so neglected to buy anything for DH and me. He won't eat soup for dinner as it isn't a meal apparently Confused.

Chicken and chorizo stew with rice Smile

Lobsterquadrille2 · 29/05/2019 18:10

Massive baked potato with a hole cut in it and an egg broken into the hole, covered with grated cheese and some butter, salt and pepper. And salad.
