I only answer these posts in school holidays when I'm home with kids and everything is made from scratch!
Ask me next week and it would be a very different story

Leftovers, so a choice of

Chicken, sausages or quiche

with

Salad - chopped, Greek or Israeli
Chips
Coleslaw
Pasta.

We've been going fancy over the bank holiday so tonight it's salmon fillet, baked spuds and salad. Boring but nutritious

Salmon, Jersey potatoes and tenderstem broccoli with some kind of sauce!

Not very exciting, but we are having cottage pie. Weather is crap here, some I’m crazy stodgy, meaty, potatoey comfort food!!

Got an online shop coming between 7 and 8 so will probs just have beans on toast. Although really fancy salmon linguine so.might pop into aldi for lemon, rocket and smoked salmon and do that seeing as its hubbys payday and wont cost much from aldi! Tesco didn't have smoked salmon trimmings that i normally use!

Slow cooked pork cheeks with mash and veg.

Feels a bit wintery, but the pork was dirt cheap at the shop so hey ho, the weather is shit here today anyway.

Veggie chilli with tortillas and guacamole 😋

Pasta Amatriciana for me and husband, and by special request homemade pizza for the teenager as he in the thick of exams.

My version of Chipotle chicken wraps, so chicken, black eyed beans, rice, salsa, guacamole and sour cream in soft tortillas.

salmon & stir fry with noodles! quick and easy is my go to during the week!

The kids have requested: sausage pasta, chicken pie and spaghetti carbonara this week. So one of those, I’ll supermarket shop this afternoon and see what we fancy later.

DD got to choose this week as it's exam week. So pasta and sauce but not tomato sauce.

Which means chicken and mushrooms in a cream and white wine sauce served with pasta (that sauce is often served with rice or potatoes in our house also). Potentially a handful of tarragon if the plant has grown enough when I inspect it.

Last night was chicken fajitas.
Tomorrow is lamb burgers.

And I can't remember what was Thursday - possibly mince and onion gravy with mash, but quite possibly something else (and even if it was already agreed, there may be a request to change it!).

Can I ask posters to state if they work full-time? I'm asking this not to be a judgemental shit stirrer but just out of genuine curiosity. I would cook most of these types of meals at the weekend but weekday meals are a much simpler affair. Even when I was a SAHM I couldn't manage to produce all these side dishes.

Tbh I think it's probably more likely. That said my veg curry and rice is leftover from Friday night and the lamb rogan is a ready meal.

I do love cooking though and usually cook from scratch even though I work f/t. Wish I had a dishwasher mind you!

Pesto pasta here. I’ll fancy it up with toasted pine nuts, wilted spinach, leftover rotisserie chicken, fresh basil and Parmesan cheese 🤤

Vegetarian sausages with new potatoes and veg. Boring but well loved by everyone!
Tomorrow mushroom and courgette curry and weds lentil Bolognese. That's as far as I've got with planning this week!

Probably salmon, new potatoes and salad although if it were my choice alone it would be a Pizza Hut deep pan vegetarian pizza with side salad....yummmm

I work full time. I do have a Thermomix though which makes cooking much easier.
