To ask how many bras you have?

I noticed today that my neighbour’s washing on her line today included a number of bras. And presumably she had one on, too, which adds to her collection.

I only own two! One decent one and an older one to wear while the other is washed. OK I can understand having extra for, say, wearing a halter top or for sports, but is it me who is unusual, with only two bog standard ones? Do you wear a fresh one every day?

I have about 25, some I wear all the time and others are for “best”.

Although currently pg and only have 3 that I can wear as refuse to invest while fluctuating so much!

I could function on about 6 minimum, but I love nice underwear.

I have a couple of plain white and flesh coloured that just go with ordinary cotton knickers and the rest (no idea how many) all have matching knickers. I just keep buying matching sets.
Really can’t understand just having 2 in total tbh.

I really don't know, 20+ I guess. I've been the same size for years now and I guess the more you have the less often you have to throw them away as I'm rotating more frequently. I have strapless bras in different colours, day bras, plunge bras, sports etc etc.

You sound like my mum 😂😂 I have 3 white ones. 3 black ones and a blue one, although 2 of the black ones are on there last legs.

Five every day fron Fantasie which is the make that fits me best and one wonderbra that goes under evening wear. I'm FF and they're £30+ a go so although I usually wear them 3-4days in a row they get hand washed and then machine spun in a bra bag to try and keep the life in them!

over 20 however, I use the same 5 all the time.. lol

Have just got rid of about 20, all of which were uncomfortable. Have about 15 left, only one of which is really comfy, but it's a racer back so can't wear it with most necklines. Am constantly on the hunt for one I can wear all day, which is why I have so many - I think I've finally found the One, and then end up having to rip it off halfway through the day.

About 20 non sports bras and about 10 sports bras.

I wear 2 bras a day, sometimes 3! I cycle to work and by bra is soaked in sweat so have a shower and change my bra. Cycle home later on and if I'm going to the gym will then wear a sports bra.

I only have two as well OP. A black one and a white one. But my white one has gone slightly off white so I have to buy another this week. I am an odd size (small back) so it usually costs a bit to buy a bra. I’d love to buy some from normal shops as they have so many pretty ones.

note to those who only have one or two or three: that's how I was raised. when I needed a bra as a teen, mom bought a package of two and told me to wash one out each night. I did that for years, until one day, I realized that wasn't the only way to do it. I started buying more colors and styles and even, get this, buying bras specifically to look right under certain shirts or dresses. Amazing!

but I have never in my life owned a matching bra and knicker set. somehow, I still think that's a really wild concept that only ladies wilder than me actually do (my adult daughters are laughing, but one of them wore superman knickers under her wedding gown so what does she know). and as others noted above, eventually you ending up wearing the bra with mismatched knickers anyway, so I don't see the point.

6 m & s ones. All same style, different colours. I wear for 2 days then wash.

I have 3. Out of interest do you all wash your bras daily, like you do knickers? I don't, maybe once a week, dirty cow?

Somewhere between 50 and 60 at best guess: all with matching knickers

About 20,mostly from TU at Sainsbury’s.

Haven’t counted but must be at least 20. Need to have a sort out as I’ve lost weight & changed cup/back size so there are some that are too big now. I bought a lovely black t shirt bra from M & S today & can’t wait to wear it as I think it will give me real definition. I would like to treat myself to some more expensive sexy lingerie as I tend to stick to Asda. When I last got measured I bought a black Gossard lacy bra & a white one & you could tell that they cost more. Fantastic fit & very flattering.

Probably about 6 t-shirt bras (3 are older and have taken the underwire out but I find them comfy)
3 sexy style bras
4 bralettes
Plus 3 bikini tops which I sometimes wear instead of a bra.
But then I have 2 spaghetti strap vests with built in bras to them (if that makes sense?)

And then 30,000 in sizes that do not fit stuffed into drawers 

me too no idea why I don't throw them out

I find it funny how the mumsnet massive seem to wear bras all week but shower everyday yet look askance at folk who might shower every other day but wear a fresh bra every day. As long as overall it works out to you not stinking, do what works for you!

I would need more than two bras though just for different outfits/having one in the wash.

About 15-18 including sports bras.

I wear matching sets so the full set goes in the laundry basket after a wear.

I always buy my sets in the sale!

More than twenty ... A few are nursing bras, and I also wear a lot of lace bralets without a wire, I probably have seven or eight of those, black and white multi ways, couple of sports bras, two or three t shirt bras, then about eight or nine nice sets. All of them other than the nursing and sports bras come with matching knickers and I have some sets with two pairs of knickers that coordinate. I have a problem....

6 but they're all knackered. I hate buying bras.

8 normal bras (wear 2 regularly)

8 bralets (wear 4 regularly)

All with matching knickers...I decided when I was 40 it was time I had them matching every day!

Usually wash bras after one or two wears. If I've sweated a bit then I only wear them once
