Just finished the second episode of the Virtues and I'm just blown away. He was incredible in This is England and all the series, and he was the best thing about the last series of Line of Duty. I just wanted to start a thread to tell the world how utterly wonderful I think he is!!!

Agreed OP. SG is one of our very best. Up there with Maxine Peake and Paddy Considine.

Hes defo from Liverpool. I was at youth Theater with him yonks ago.
He was an incredible talent even back then... shone like a light & worked incredibly hard to continually improve. I knew he'd make it and was made up to start seeing his face on the screen years later.
His success is deserved.

I agree, i think he is great but David Tennant is the best actor for me. Love him in everything he does and he comes across as being really lovely irl too.
