Just that really. I will occasionally have wine or beer but don't want it every night, water seems a bit boring and juice too sweet to go with savoury stuff. What do you have?

Fraxion · 17/05/2019 10:16

Nothing. Tea or coffee later.

tappitytaptap · 17/05/2019 10:17

Water usually, or dilute juice. Sometimes wine or beer but usually have that separately.

ellabella84 · 17/05/2019 10:19

Always water.

RiversDisguise · 17/05/2019 10:20

Water.

chipsnmayo · 17/05/2019 10:20

Might have some alcohol in the weekend, often gin but if DD is home we have some cider.

Other than that it is water, I really only have water in the house these days. Cup of tea after dinner.

20-15 years ago we drunk an awful lot of juice, fizzy etc (my ignorance..) at lunch and dinner. I shudder to think of the sugar I gave DD looking back now.

bluebellation · 17/05/2019 10:22

Wine if neither of us are going out later. Otherwise water, still or sparkling.

tardyheart · 17/05/2019 10:23

Water during the week & a glass of wine on Fri & Sat

Then either Coffee, Tea or Fruit Tea a bit later on.

SallyWD · 17/05/2019 10:26

Water, I love water

londonloves · 17/05/2019 10:26

Water or squash. Or wine two-three nights a week.

bumblingbovine49 · 17/05/2019 10:27

Sparking water from the sodastream

ZippyBungleandGeorge · 17/05/2019 10:32

Water as a default, sometimes sparkling with fresh lime, but in the summer iced tea, not the premade sweet stuff, either brewed and chilled black tea with loads of lemon or I brew a big jug of fruit tea (twinings etc) and keep that in the fridge, always over a lot of ice and sometimes some fresh mint in the fruity ones

Cath2907 · 17/05/2019 10:35

Ribena or wine or water

LittleSF · 17/05/2019 10:43

Wine some nights and if not, then nothing. Unless DH forgets who he's cooking for and makes the curry or chilli super extra mega hot and then it's a litre of full fat milk!

Jaz32 · 17/05/2019 10:44

Water most of time. A Diet Pepsi if I'm eating out or I feel the need to have something more flavoured/fizzy.

Occasionally very dilute squash if I'm at someone else's as I don't like the limey tap water around here or room temp water 😂

Like others have said only tea with breakfast and sometimes Latte/coffee with lunch if I'm at Costa!

jarhead123 · 17/05/2019 10:44

Water or squash.

I like pepsi max of an evening but never with my meal.

femidom12 · 17/05/2019 10:44

Meths

RottnestFerry · 17/05/2019 10:51

Nothing. Perhaps a cup of tea if it's not too late or a glass of wine if it is the weekend.

Rarely drink water at all.

Jinglejanglefish · 17/05/2019 10:56

Either wine or a glass of water

caperplips · 17/05/2019 10:58

sparkling water with a slice of lemon or lime
and red wine, a couple of evenings a week

reluctantbrit · 17/05/2019 10:59

Wine
pure juice but that depends on the food
apple juice with sparkling water
milk with certain dishes

Mojitomogul · 17/05/2019 11:03

Water, sometimes if I fancy something different I had fevertree cucumber tonic, it's really refreshing. Or ginger ale. Too much of the time I have a glass of red or white though!

Theoldwoman · 17/05/2019 11:06

Water

howwudufeel · 17/05/2019 11:09

Sometimes I will make a jug of cordial. We will sometimes have wine. Usually though it’s a coffee afterwards.

CabbageHippy · 17/05/2019 11:14

I really like tonic water - have it in a nice wine glass with some ice

woodcutbirds · 17/05/2019 11:22

Water
A weak white wine spritzer (1/2 glass of wine in a large tumbler topped with ice and sparkling water)
alcohol free beer (bavaria is nice - really savoury
weak cordials with sparkling water e.g. elderflower and rose or lime.

Like you, I don't like sweet drinks with food but all of these work and aren't too heavy on alcohol.
