Just that really. I will occasionally have wine or beer but don't want it every night, water seems a bit boring and juice too sweet to go with savoury stuff. What do you have?

Water is boring, but thirst quenching. It has no taste so I don't feel the same way about a glass of water that I do about a cup of tea or a glass of wine. I don't usually feel the need to have a drink while I am eating. I like a cup of tea afterwards though.

LoubyLou1234 · 17/05/2019 09:47

Water or squash

HBStowe · 17/05/2019 09:48

Wine sometimes, occasionally Diet Coke with lunch when eating out, but almost always just water. I prefer it to almost anything else!

Karigan195 · 17/05/2019 09:48

Juice may seem to sweet but is recommended to increase intake if needed vitamins etc ie iron. The vitamin c in juice helps iron absorption

Karigan195 · 17/05/2019 09:49

Oh and products with tanin such as tea prevent it

Verite1 · 17/05/2019 09:49

Water. Unless out. Then wine.

LoafofSellotape · 17/05/2019 09:49

Water with ice

LipstickHandbagCoffee · 17/05/2019 09:49

Water sparkling or still

HBStowe · 17/05/2019 09:49

The thought of a hot drink with any meal other than breakfast is so alien to me but I have no real reason for why!

ChipSandwich · 17/05/2019 09:49

A cup of tea.

AyoadesChinDimple · 17/05/2019 09:50

Decaf coffee or a gin

RavenLG · 17/05/2019 09:51

Water or Squash. I can't not have a drink with food.

Only alcohol if out (if then) don't really see the appeal of alcohol with food. But then we don't drink in the house, and only really drink on rare occasions anyway.

RelaisBlu · 17/05/2019 09:51

Nothing; I can't multitask

Grin

Water here as well, occasionally a glass of wine

GreenEyedDevil · 17/05/2019 09:53

Water with the meal and a cup of tea after.

Tea. It's the law.

SerenDippitty · 17/05/2019 09:56

Nothing usually, except wine on a Friday. Tea afterwards, coffee if we’ve had wine.

Illberidingshotgun · 17/05/2019 10:00

Water, or occasionally squash. If I want something "nice" with a meal I'll have one of the flavoured Fever Tree tonics, which are a lovely "grown up" drink, or an AF beer.

BiddyPop · 17/05/2019 10:05

Hm lemonade
Elderflower cordial
Sparkling water
Squash
Wine
Occasionally a beer

ps1991 · 17/05/2019 10:07

Squash. My husband and I very rarely drink alcohol especially not with food.

SystolicSyster · 17/05/2019 10:07

Nothing, unless it's Christmas or some other big deal, in which case wine.

Floralnomad · 17/05/2019 10:08

Tea , neither dh or I drink alcohol and I drink water / lime squash all day .

pickletickled · 17/05/2019 10:09

Water 99% of the time.
Glass of wine very occasionally.
Dh - sometimes has a beer with his then complains EVERY FUCKING TIME that he's bloated from the meal. Erm no my love that would be the gassy gob fulls of lager you washed the food down with. The rest of the time he has juice or water.

stucknoue · 17/05/2019 10:10

Nothing usually, we have tea or wine after. We don't sit over meals usually

MotherWilliam · 17/05/2019 10:15

Water usually but love ginger ale.
