Just that really. I will occasionally have wine or beer but don't want it every night, water seems a bit boring and juice too sweet to go with savoury stuff. What do you have?

OP posts:
Bibijayne · 17/05/2019 12:24

Water or diet lemonade usually. Occasionally a beer/ small glass of wine.

ShadowsInTheDarkness · 17/05/2019 12:25

Squash. Always squash, we get through gallons of it in this house. I can't eat without having a drink to hand, some things require added moisture to enable one to swallow them! I struggle to drink plain water, will drink more if its squash and same for the DCs. DH is a tea fiend but if it's too late for caffeine then it's squash for him too.

Totally agree with Gth1234 that tea is law with fry ups however.

leiaskye · 17/05/2019 12:33

Cup of tea, ever since I was a toddler & my mum would give me some in a sippy cup 😂

Ivy44 · 17/05/2019 12:33

Water usually, during the week. Peppermint tea after dinner, apparently it helps with digestion and I like it.

At the weekend we often get wine to go with dinner (but we make more effort cooking at the weekend). Or drink water with dinner and have a couple of G&Ts afterwards.

Celebelly · 17/05/2019 12:33

Fruit juice, squash, fizzy drink. Always have a drink with food, would feel weird not to!

Aprillygirl · 17/05/2019 12:35

Nothing usually, dinner time is for eating.

PinkHeartLovesCake · 17/05/2019 12:35

Sparkling water or wine 🍷

aLilNonnyMouse · 17/05/2019 12:38

Either apple and blackcurrant squash, or pure orange juice. I don't like the taste of water and I don't like hot drinks so I stick to just the above. Occasionally get a glass of coke when I'm eating out.

NotANewUser2 · 17/05/2019 12:38

@stucknoue

Nothing usually, we have tea or wine after. We don't sit over meals usually

You don’t sit down to eat? Confused

Water here, always! Wine occasionally. Dr Pepper yesterday went down a little too well though, so won’t be making a habit of that.

Natsku · 17/05/2019 12:39

Water or fizzy water (we have a sodastream so just fizz up tap water). Fizzy pop on Fridays.

AryaStarkWolf · 17/05/2019 12:39

Just tap water

Ivy44 · 17/05/2019 12:40

Ah yes, I agree with that. Tea is law with fry ups, it’s also law with toast.

AryaStarkWolf · 17/05/2019 12:40

@leiaskye Please say you still use the sippy cup? Grin

greenlynx · 17/05/2019 12:41

Nothing, then tea or coffee later. Occasionally no tea after lunch, just water, but not with food.

Titsywoo · 17/05/2019 12:43

Water - it's all I really drink on a day to day basis. I don't find it boring but then I'm just trying to quench my thirst so I don't see it as something to enjoy like I do food.

IHaveBrilloHair · 17/05/2019 12:46

Water, unless it's fish and chips then a cup of tea

derxa · 17/05/2019 12:47

A thimble full of wine once every leap year

NotStayingIn · 17/05/2019 12:51

Water. Love it! If I have wine I would still have water as well.

mollpop · 17/05/2019 12:54

Tea, water or wine

Thatsnotmyotter · 17/05/2019 12:55

Squash, water or occasionally diet lemonade or Pepsi Max.

MadamMMA · 17/05/2019 12:55

I doubt anyone that thinks 5 dry crackers is a meal is too worried about digestion Grin

sleepwhenidie · 17/05/2019 12:55

Usually water or Heineken 00 alcohol free lager - our way of getting out of the wine habit, which has been very effective!

motheroftwoboys · 17/05/2019 12:56

water Monday to Thursday (unless I am going out). Wine Friday to Sunday.

Lyricallie · 17/05/2019 12:57

Diluting orange or water. Fiance occasionally has a beer.

RiddleyW · 17/05/2019 12:58

Do the tea people have it with all meals? So tea and curry? Tea and a roast dinner? I'm finding this thread weirdly fascinating.
