AIBU to ask how much coffee you drink in a day?

I have one. Every morning, first thing. A Nespresso costa cappucino. I was spending £2.50 a day but switched to a machine and it's nearly as good. If I don't think too hard about it

Anyway - that's all I'll have. Never have a second coffee.

What about you?

You know that health advice saying you should drink 2 litres of water a day?

I drink 2 litres of coffee.

Probably 3/4, I have started buying Decaff and am switching over slowly as I know it's not great for me!

During the week 4 cups of instant
Saturday & Sunday 2/3 cups of instant + 1 cappuccino from a coffee shops

A coffee first thing when I get up, I usually stop at a coffee shop on the way back from school run and get a naice coffee, then probably about another 3 cups over the course of the day.

About 18 billion on a good day. Seriously I lose count.

None ad I can't stand it. Give me my tea. I like 3 teas in the morning. And will sometimes have more in the afternoon. Maybe another in the evening as well.

6 - 8 probably (instant - I know that's not great!).

OP, one Nespresso Costa Cappuccino is a lot stronger than instant coffee. It has at least 2 shots in it, more if you have a big size.

I go to Costa and, after having decaff for a year of so now, last weekend they made a mistake (which I didn't bother to correct them on) and gave me caffeinated Americano. It was so strong and I felt sick and headachy afterwards. Amazing the effect that caffeine has.

@Ounce ....that was me! Only I'd make a start on a second pot as well, so probably another litre!
I have cut down loads, over the past year or so, GP was fretting about HBP which I disproved through home monitoring but still.

I am on two cups a day now...although they are GIANT cups so just the one litre now and making up the rest of my intake with water and one cup of decaff Earl Grey because it's not decent to drink coffee in the afternoons.

I am sleeping much better, but that is the water not the missing caffeine as I always sleep better when I have 2l of water.

One, maybe 2, in the mornings (usually on the way into work, sometimes as I get there).

Occasionally, another one mid-morning.

I try to stop at lunch and switch to decaf if possible. But if I am in meetings after lunch and its' there, I usually grab one (as the tea is rank from flasks and liquid is needed to get through those meetings!).

On weekends, I normally have at least 1 and often 2 cups from cafetiere on Saturday if I am up early enough before Cub Scouts, and sometimes the Leaders will organize a sneaky cup for ourselves if the opportunity arises (we're usually too busy).

Sundays I can definitely get at least 1 cup - from cafetiere or Nespresso at home, or at sailing club if I am on early duty (if I'm on duty, there's usually multiple cups in the morning before stopping at lunch).

I used to drink coffee all day every day, so many I couldn't tell you how many. Then I got pregnant and haven't been able to stomach coffee since and I'm 6 weeks pp now! I kind of miss it though.

It's disgusting. I don't drink tea either. Don't understand the obsession with them if I'm honest.

At least 3 double espressos before lunch and 1 or 2 more betwen lunch and 2PM.

Down to two a day. When I was working it was one at breakfast and six in the office.

Usually 2 cappuccinos (double shots of 16-17g) and 2 huge mugs of strong tea. I love coffee and I love the ritual. It takes about 4 minutes to weigh / grind the beans, another minute to make the espresso, during which time I froth the milk. Love it. Great start to the working day after finishing the school run. Occasionally I back off to decaf but I haven't found one I really love yet. Plus if I don't have caffeine I crash out with the kids!

I or 2 now. We have a costa at work and I didn’t realise that a regular Costa americano has 3 shots in it until I started getting the odd racing heart

I just have either one tea or one small coffee first thing in the morning because I'm pregnant. Pre pregnancy I could easily knock back 4 large mugs of coffee over the course of the morning.

I have a wee flask that is about half a mug in the morning at work and if I'm fasting until lunch (intermittent fasting) I'll have a black coffee to tide me over until 12. Also whenever I'm at an external all day meeting I'll drink a lot more as an excuse to get up and wake myself up.

Coffee is very good for the liver. I have liver problems so have about 4-5 Nespresso coffees a day.

I drink all of my coffee in work, they have a capsule machine and provide free capsules.
