To want a Friends inconsistency thread

I have watched this WAYYY too much. But there must be others like me out there.

To start...

• Ben disappears.

• Rachel's dad smokes but with her smoking episodes she says she doesn't because her dad's a doctor and told her horror stories about it.

Phoebe was horrible in later episodes, the one where she made a big fuss about Rachel not using a massage voucher for a corporate spa and then ended up working there herself was typically selfish and nasty.

Just watching the one with the lottery rachel suggerst everyone put in 50 dollars each to go in together

Who has 50 dollars spare-also in the first series she was fed up of the others assuming they could afford to go out all the time-so just because shes got money now she assumes everyone does

Just watched the one with the soap party on the roof.
Maybe I'm just confused but at the very end of the episode chandler gets Monica and pheobe tickets for the play they missed out on. But in the next episode they all talk about the party that happened last night. So when did he get them tickets for the play?

On the night he was there maybe for payback? But yeah it was quick

Oh and the guys toilet!
When Chandler and Monica are meeting in secret they tell Joey it's 9am, he goes to brush his teeth then Chandler opens the bathroom door and he's fast asleep on the toilet which is placed by the door. In another scene though the toilet can't be seen through the door as it's now behind it, on the opposite side of the bathroom.

When monica et all are listening at the hotel wall at ross and charlies room then they open the door the hallway is there so couldnt be another room

This has always irritated me!

In the scene when Ross and Rachel are breaking up and the others are trapped in the bedroom, they can hear every word in detail - even Joey, who is nowhere near the door - yet neither Rachel or Ross hear so much as muffled voices (even though they’re not even whispering!)

It always annoys me when they are looking through the peephole and talking really loud as if the people outside wouldn't be able to hear them. The doors are really thin so of course they would probably hear every word!

Love Friends! All the inconsistencies I’ve noticed have been mentioned- obviously the huge one that Ben just disappears!!

I have to say I find one episode unwatchable- the one when Phoebe tries to teach Joey French. No adult would ever in their right mind think that they were saying the same words. He’s just speaking absolute gibberish and we’re supposed to find it hilarious that he thinks he’s speaking French. Even my 5 year old can copy me saying foreign words!

Not a plot inconsistency but something I’ve started noticing recently, if a character is in more than one story line for the episode, it’ll jump between the 2 storylines so the timeline jumps back and forth.
