I am being unreasonable

Next door have recently inflated a hot tub in their garden. There is a bunch of rowdy teenagers loudly carousing in it. My baby's room backs on to the garden and it's keeping her up. I know they have the right to use their garden as they like at seven pm on a Friday but I'm still unreasonably annoyed.

Care to share anything you're unreasonably annoyed about?

I’m annoyed that my lovely husband is better organized than I am this year for our wedding anniversary 😩

I am so unreasonably annoyed that the 5 day old, stale , fungified apple pie which I had so carefully left out for all of penicillin to colonize, didn’t stay crisp and fresh but is now green goo..
How bloody dare it?

DH closes windows and doesn't always pull the handle to click them closed. Upstairs little windows, so it isn't a security issue really, but it's really annoying.

My neighbour shouts nice questions at us every day outside the house, like "how was DS music class?", then when we answer she says she can't hear (she's a bit deaf but doesn't have a hearing aid for a reason I've forgotten) and asks what we said, repeat until we cross the road. Then we're trapped and in for a long chat. Her DH is even better at trapping us, once his lead-in to his next story was that Thursday was the day after Wednesday. With such skills, there is no escape. They're lovely and we like talking to them, it would just be nice to be given the option.

I also find the microwave thing annoying, I'm forever asking DH to just hit cancel.

I'm annoyed that I'm still lying in the bath and can't be bothered getting out. I really want to get out because DP is watching a good program and my phone battery is getting low, but I can't get my body to move. I'll probably be in here until the phone dies.

I remember screaming at some kids who were messing about in front of my house and woke the baby at 8pm. I was so sleep deprived and they apologised (prob terrified of the screaming/crying lady) Blush

I’m contentedly sitting beside my dd as she goes to sleep, listening to the rain on the velux and pretending we are in a tent. It’s great.

I’ll be here for a while though, and I am unreasonably annoyed that I don’t have a glass of red wine.

I really annoyed I cant even think of anything for the thread, which must mean that my life is pretty good today, but its just so annoying because I want to join in on the posting fun 👿

DelusionalDog · 10/05/2019 22:00

im annoyed at how many times a bloody day my 13 year old DD blowdries her hair. shes there now...blowdrying away. she has a dyson dryer so, while not particularly loud, its the damn humming of it CONSTANTLY.

Brigante9 · 10/05/2019 22:14

That would wind me up too. Nothing screams chav like a garden hot tub!

Dear me, I’m obviously a massive chav! It’s lovely to sit in the tub with a drink and discuss our day. The bats flit down, the stars come out, the last planes are going over to the airport and it helps me sleep.

I'm annoyed because every time I look out of DS1's window at the back of the house, I can see the neighbour's garden with all the empty pegs still out on the washing line! Just fetch them in with the washing and put them in a bloody basket for crike's sake!

BuzzShitbagBobbly · 10/05/2019 22:21

I live in a really nice, quiet street. Next door has got a motorcycle which I can hear coming for miles. So bloody loud!

He also likes to warm it up for several minutes every day, and all the noise reverberates off the brick walls and houses here.

Bambamber · 10/05/2019 22:21

I'm annoyed at the cat that sits on the window ledge of my front room and sits staring in at my dog winding her up.

I'm also annoyed that I planted some lovely flowers to attract insects to the gardens but the same dog keeps trying to eat all the insects

Outnotdown · 10/05/2019 23:08

I'm annoyed that I have to spend all day Saturday cleaning up my house and preparing food because I have a big gang of relations visiting on Sunday.

But I invited them here.
