To ask what minor annoyances are marring your day today?

I’ll start. 🙂

I was coming home with three very heavy grocery shopping bags. I get on the bus, it’s mostly empty so I plonk two of my bags on the seat next to me and the third one between my legs.

Next thing I know, another woman asks me to move my bags so she can sit next to me.

There were lots of other seats available all around us. She could have sat anywhere else.

Obviously I moved my bags, and did the rest of my journey with them on my knees.

WHY did she have to pick that seat???

Some people have a thing about bags on seats... I don’t get it if the bus / train is empty

My minor annoyance is my DH complete insistence he is always more tired than me, despite having an extra 3 hours sleep and not getting up in the night with baby (he’s currently napping) grrrrr! I’ll get my own back by leaving him with baby and walking dog

It's annoying when people put bags on seats if the bus is full, but if there were plenty of other seats, she was just being a CF. I'd have told her to bog off.

Oh yes @Granny, I remember the tiredness olympics with DH when DCs were babies!

A wooden spoon with rice on it from yesterday's dinner being left unwashed on the drying rack... grr (do not want rice food poisoning!).

Burping, I can't stop burping, gone on for a few days now, I need to buy shares in Gaviscon!

Period pains

Oh the seat thing is so annoying I never make eye contact so they sit elsewhere
Mud annoyed me today
Doing the garden. Heavy clay soil. Goes from cracked to clods to sticky mud in seconds due to stupid hailstone rain. Ffs it’s May
And slugs because this weather encourages them and I have to go on slug patrol every evening. They eat entire plants.

A sore throat that is not sore enough but had left me with a "yacking" cough andmy posh ready meal for 1 looks miniscule

I’ve had some (mild) criticism regarding some voluntary work I do, neither issue is at all serious ... in both organisations there are constant complaints that ‘no one offers to volunteer’ yet I am volunteering and getting criticised .

Dds phone has broken.
Her bus journey to college was a nightmare.

I've hurt my shoulder, I have period pains (cramp, backache, headache) and a big spot growing near my nose.

Weigh in on Saturday and I reckon I've gained (own fault, enjoyed the weekend ) so I can't have chocolate or alcohol.

My absolute knob if a neighbour has been playing her musical instrument for several hours today. It’s a minor annoyance but I work from home today and she is Plonking away. She is so bad and hasn’t improved in three years. My ds wants to buy her sheet music and put it through the door.

My flight was cancelled and now I'm sat on the tarmac in seat 34E next to a man who keeps making disgusting phlegm noises.

Why do people (men) think that's an ok noise to make? Never heard a woman do it

That the smell coming from my 14 year old ds room was a bag in his wardrobe from two years ago that had an exploded carton of yoghurt inside it. All this time I have been wondering about it. 🤮Why didn't he just tell me?
Also ds2 shouted at me because Xbox was loading so slowly.

I presented a major piece of work to a meeting with my boss today, and two other people in the room took credit.

I can't stop myself eating crap food & am putting weight on. Saw myself in a mirror today and bleugh.

So i made a lovely meal for dinner & none of the kids would touch it.

My kids are loud.

I have to go out tonight to teach 30 kids karate bur I'm tired and just want to watch tv & drink wine.

Yest i dyed my hair silver with a very cheap toner. It looks the best my hair has ever looked. Without a doubt.
Why have I paid £1000s over the years for blonde salon highlights that didn't even suit me?!!!

I've just found my DS spellings sheet in the bottom of his bag under books. It's the big test tomorrow.....

After a lovely week in Córdoba, I'm sat in Seville airport as my flight home id delayed due to French air traffic controllers being on strike.

Unfortunately have to be up at 6am tomorrow, as couldn't get tomorrow off work

The woman in Aldi today. She insisted on packing all her stuff, about 10 bags, at the till, causing a massive holdup. When they had all been scanned she still had loads of stuff to pack, I was behind her with a few bits and even the till operator was helping her in the end. Then when it was time to pay she rooted in her bag to find her purse and paid by card. I may have muttered "for fucks sake" under my breath.
