I’ll start. 🙂

I was coming home with three very heavy grocery shopping bags. I get on the bus, it’s mostly empty so I plonk two of my bags on the seat next to me and the third one between my legs.

Next thing I know, another woman asks me to move my bags so she can sit next to me.

There were lots of other seats available all around us. She could have sat anywhere else.

Obviously I moved my bags, and did the rest of my journey with them on my knees.

WHY did she have to pick that seat???

On bus yesterday someone was eating a bag of KFC right behind me and it stank-hate it when people eat gross food on the bus.

My 3 year old climbing on me. Constantly. As soon as I sit down anywhere he's on top of me in 3 seconds. Climbing up my shoulders, sliding down my legs, doing head stands in my lap. Confused

I have the start of a cold, and I'm 6 weeks pregnant and fucking knackered, and DH and I have had several really busy days in a row, and I'm just not hungry atm and don't want to cook or eat anything, but I have to because we both have to go out to a meeting tonight, and I probably am hungry anyway really but I can't work it out, and it's really cold and wet, and I'm thoroughly fed up! Oh, and nobody wants to give me a job 😩

(Tempered by the fact that I have at least managed to do some housework, and it could be worse in tiredness terms, and DH is a darling. But grrr to body, and weather, and stupid cold!)

Mrsjayy · 09/05/2019 18:28

My dinner was tasty but indeed miniscule consoling myself with tea and mini rolls

SecretWitch · 09/05/2019 18:37

Niggling headache, just waiting for the migraine explosion. Every blessed thing I put away is taken back out by Dh and Dd. Also, menopause.

Ali1cedowntherabbithole · 09/05/2019 18:39

School have thanked an occasional volunteer for a piece of work she did. It was a good job and she deserved the appreciation, but there wasn't, and never is, any acknowledgement of the efforts of regular helpers. Angry

I went to the GP last week for a normal appointment then dutifully made another appointment for a medication review as requested. I rocked up today only to be told "it's been done" so I hadn't needed to go again ffs

startalovetrain · 09/05/2019 18:47

A can of Diet Coke exploded and ruined my bag and someone keeps farting on the train Sad

Glitterblue · 09/05/2019 18:53

foxyariel you're supposed to just put everything back into the trolley at the checkout at Aldi then go and pack it at your leisure at the designated shelf thing. There isn't any space at the checkouts for packing and once one or two things pile up it starts to cause a backlog.

My annoyance of the day is the fact that I have horrible period pains, I put my repeat prescription in for my painkillers first thing on Tuesday morning, it was signed straight off by the Dr's and I've still not had a text from Tesco saying it's ready. Just praying I'll hear by school run time in the morning as I pass tesco to get to school and could pick it up. I might even go in and ask as it's all done electronically and they don't normally take more than 24 hours and I used the last of the ones I had during the night, assuming I'd have the new ones today but instead I'm in agony.

DontVisitMe · 09/05/2019 19:13

You don't pack your bags at the till in Aldi! That's what the packing area is for.

Fantasisa · 09/05/2019 19:15

A member of my team didn’t do an important job as soon as I gave her what was needed to do it.

She left it until the last possible minute for no reason and although it still got done I’m still very irritated.

StBernard · 09/05/2019 19:20

The medical centre have lost dd's records that I have now provided 3 times and are insisting I haven't passed them on and must do them again otherwise she will be recorded as unvaccinated. They have my ds' records, do they think I just picked a favourite and didn't bother with the other one? They also want to redo all her vaccines which I am refusing. I am now studiously ignoring all calls and letters, they can go to hell.

Unclebuck3 · 09/05/2019 19:20

I never knew that’s what that shelf in Aldi is for! Is it the same system in Lidl? God, I’ve been doing it wrong all this time! 😂

Phlewf · 09/05/2019 19:24

I got sent home from work because I’m wheezing and fainted, but no gp until next week at least - annoying but could get past it.

DH offered pick up ds and take him to activities instead of dm because she has had a busy week and he was being kind - somehow this ended up with me getting shouted at for undermining dm.

Always better off at work.

FawnDrench · 09/05/2019 19:28

The printer won't bloody print despite me reconnecting it a million times
The desserts at my lunch out with a friend were far too expensive so we had coffee instead
The dog is mardy because it's raining
DH didn't take the washing out of the washer the minute it stopped, resulting in numerous untidy and unnecessary creases to some of the clothes.

MuchTooTired · 09/05/2019 19:30

My minor annoyance today is that nothing gets done in my house unless I’m the one who starts it. There’s two adults in this house, why must it always be me?!

Lllot5 · 09/05/2019 19:31

Got soaked walking into town this morning. Came home rain stopped. Popped to my daughter’s Rain started again, soaked again.

Whywonttheyletmeusemyusername · 09/05/2019 19:32

People....
Just that really. ...people

Oldraver · 09/05/2019 19:35

That bloody bloke at work will not leave the door to the ladies toilet alone. Its not the actual cubicle doors but the door that leads to the area where the hand basins are ( and then the cubicles). I've been leaving it slightly ajar to allow some air circulation.

The mens toilet door is always wide open so why he cant leave ours alone I dont know

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 09/05/2019 19:36

My mascara ran because I was laughing so much at work I thought I was going to pee myself.

HotSauceCommittee · 09/05/2019 19:42

My incompetence with the new laptop I have been given for work. I feel like a dickhead dinosaur struggling with it.

SeaViewBliss · 09/05/2019 19:44

Wifi keeps dropping out for a minute at a time.

I was working from home all day but got called into a last minute meeting so had to get properly dressed! And the meeting was a waste of time.

BuildBuildings · 09/05/2019 19:50

It's freezing
I'm due on my period
I have a mild cold
@Airbiscuits snotty phlegm noises make me gag I'm ok with other bodily fluids but not this. I couldn't handle it. I agree men think they can dominate spaces even in the noise they make. Urgh

cushioncovers · 09/05/2019 19:53

My ds eating crisps loudly whilst I'm trying to watch tv.

BuildBuildings · 09/05/2019 19:53

Oh I've got another one.. . I spent most of the day working on something I was going to do anyway that my manager emailed me to ask me to do.( It was the next step on a project plan.) Even after I'd emailed her yesterday saying I'm going to do x thing! Some people just need to feel like the boss.
