Why Harrison? I don't understand that one at all.

Oh. I'm not sure about that.

The poshest person I know, old money, titles etc is an Archie.

Not an Archibald.

It’s rather lovely and hardly modern in any event.

Absolutely love it and the nod to Harry makes it really special. Great name.

Fabulous none stuffy name. Suits the little one and fits right in with Meghan & Prince Harry’s personalities and bohemian lifestyle.

I'm surprised by Archie because it's so popular, and not at all "royal". I like Harrison, but again, surprised they went with it.

I don't think he's automatically a prince anyway, is he?

Lovely. Congratulations to them. I admire them for being themselves and providing some fresh air to the royals.

Harrison = Harry’s Son Grin

If they were going to go modern they could've at least considered Balonz

LaurieMarlow · 08/05/2019 17:13

I quite like it. It’s not miles off Zara’s children’s names which are also more popular and mainstream.

Good for them not choosing something dull and predictable

They have picked my DC's name. He's going to be in for a right ribbing at school tomorrow!

Oh! Balonz would have been perfect!

Lots of middle -class snobbery going on here with the haters. Interesting.

So Charles doesn't get a (name) mention ? Or Philip ?
Interesting.

But Balonz is an old Sussex name Grin

They still should have used it. How fitting.

I'm not middle class and I hate it Grin

I'm "council house and violent" myself, so not sure why it was deleted.

It’s mumsnet, where if you don’t call your child George or Emily you’ve thrown away their chance to work in audit for a Big Four and have therefore ruined their life forever Grin

Not that little Archie needs to worry about a career in accountancy.
