u areright ladylush.. just remembered hadnt sorted out ds's mattress just sprayed with loads of dettol as soaked in. Any suggestions as to wether i should do something else with it??I am a pretty crap housewife type atm

Oh dear. No ideas. I have to get ds some waterproof sheets today as he still wears a nappy at night and we want to phase it out now that he is in pre-school. Is he prone to the odd accident or is it a one-off?

Maybe you can give it a good scrub, then put a mattress cover over it so it's less whiffy. Urine tends to linger though - you'd know that from work. I'm a crap h/w atm too as I IMO I am a f/t worker on paid sick leave - hence not obliged!
