To get a robot mop

Yes I know I'm a lazy bint but I have 2 dogs and work full time.

It could mop my floor every night collecting the stray hair and paw marks.

Get a karcher floor cleaner.
Self propelled almost.

SparklyLeprechaun · 02/05/2019 19:28

Why not? I've only got a robot hoover but I love it. Robot mop sounds even better.

EjectorCrab · 02/05/2019 19:29

There’s a robot mop?! I want a robot mop.

SachaStark · 02/05/2019 19:30

I couldn’t be without my robot hoover.

Robot mop is now going on my Amazon wishlist.

Isitme13 · 02/05/2019 19:32

Do it.

I have one, and a robot hoover, and they are game changers. Really makes a huge difference in keeping on top of stuff.

OldAndWornOut · 02/05/2019 19:34

Are they expensive?
Is it worth trying out a cheap one?
I'm seriously envious!

Aprillygirl · 02/05/2019 19:35

There is nothing unreasonable about purchasing something to make your life easier OP! I'm off to research this amazing sounding invention right now........

RevRichardWayneGaryWayne · 02/05/2019 19:35

With pets they can be.....problematic!

A robot mop!? Where? ShockGrin

PunkRockHippy · 02/05/2019 19:39

I have one. Robot hoover goes on as we leave in the morning (having done a quick check floors are clear and no stray poops! BTDT!). Robot mop does the kitchen floor overnight. Love them both.

FrenchyQ · 02/05/2019 19:48

My robot hoover mops aswell....I love it :-)

Phineyj · 02/05/2019 19:51

Ooh get you. I haven't even got a robot!

notsosmartagainagain · 02/05/2019 19:52

Absolutely not! We have a robot hoover and a robot mop and couldn't be without them. Means the floors are always clean in the event that someone calls in and frees up time to do other cleaning and tidying. I love coming home from work and there being no cereal crumbs on the floor!

NotTheChef · 02/05/2019 19:52

Well I'm clearly NBU Grin

Next thing is which one? Some of you already have one?
Do I need a separate robot hoover?
Does anyone know if they need daily emptying/refilling?

Someone give me a link to the robot mop please!!!

MrsMozartMkII · 02/05/2019 19:59

Watching with interest, and really hoping they aren't silly prices Grin

crispysausagerolls · 02/05/2019 19:59

I got one because of the dog and they are fucking useless they just smear the hair around!

camelfinger · 02/05/2019 20:02

We got rid of ours the other day. It was so frustrating, kept getting stuck and leaving areas untouched. It used to frustrate me so much watching it, it made me realise that it doesn’t take much longer to fill up a bucket and do it myself (not that I do, mind).

TheBitterBoy · 02/05/2019 20:11

I have a robot hoover and a robot lawnmower, wouldn't be without them. I don't have enough hard flooring to justify a robot mop sadly.

MereDintofPandiculation · 02/05/2019 20:20

I wash the kitchen floor about every 2 days, or 180 days a year. With the cheapest I've seen costing about £180, if it lasted 5 years, that means I'd be paying 20p a wash not to have to do it myself.

MinervaVause · 02/05/2019 20:38

Hang on, forget the robot mop, there’s a robot lawnmower? 😮 Let me just grab my bank card.

YANBU op, get 2 robots. One to vacuum the hair and then one to mop. Or the one that Frenchy has that does both.

NotTheChef · 02/05/2019 20:46

@FrenchyQ which one do you have? does it do both at the same time or separately

@crispysausagerolls eek was that a mop or a vac?

OP posts:
FrenchyQ · 02/05/2019 21:09

It hoovers first then mops afterwards
