Milk or Cereal first?

Hi, my 13 year old son keeps arguing with me when I make his breakfast saying you put the cereal in first and then milk after but I put the milk in first followed by the cereal.
How do you do it?
Milk first or Cereal first?

Adding cereal to milk is like adding squash to water - wrong!
Nonono... everyone knows you put water first then squash, so you can see it turns the right colour when it’s strong enough!

Surfingtheweb · 01/05/2019 21:45

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 he's 13!!! You are aware other kids make their cereal from like 6 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 but of course cereal first.

Whisky2014 · 01/05/2019 21:46

Cereal first

Greeborising · 01/05/2019 21:49

Well it’s OBVIOUSLY cereal first, 🙄
The more pressing question is you getting your 13yo son his breakfast!?

Flaverings · 01/05/2019 21:49

Is this one of those threads where the true , bigger, rather worrying picture begins to become obvious?

FromageFrais · 01/05/2019 21:58

MILK FIRST?!

what in the good lords name is this ridiculousness

1tisILeClerc · 01/05/2019 22:05

If you are having croissants you have to put the chocolate milk or coffee in first otherwise the bowl will be empty so you can't dunk the croissant or toast.

BernardsarenotalwaysSaints · 01/05/2019 22:06

Well cereal obviously.

If he cba to make it himself so be it, he won’t starve if he doesn’t have breakfast. Also if he’s hungry by break for a few days in a row he probably will start doing it himself.

Mousetrap3 · 01/05/2019 22:08

Cereal first obviously! I get my 13 year olds breakfast too OP 😀

llangennith · 01/05/2019 22:12

Cereal first. Never heard of milk first😂

Banhaha · 01/05/2019 22:37

Try that weetabix milk stuff so you don't have to make the decision. I do milk 2nd but as he's old enough just let him do it how he wants.

PurpleFlower1983 · 01/05/2019 22:40

Cereal of course!

hazell42 · 01/05/2019 22:57

Milk first. Keeps the cereal crisp longer
No brainer

NameChangeSameRage · 01/05/2019 22:59

Yeah, if he can't be bothered, then he goes hungry till lunch. He'll soon do it himself.

Jupiters · 01/05/2019 23:03

I'm going to skip over the why isn't your 13 year old making his own breakfast. But surely it's cereal first, or how would you know how much milk you need to go with it?!

hellooosweetheart · 28/05/2019 10:30

Cereal and then milk obvs

Pinkvoid · 28/05/2019 10:32

Cereal first otherwise how do you know how much milk you require?

LarryGreysonsDoor · 28/05/2019 10:38

Cereal first.

You don’t need to shout. Either he gets his own breakfast or he goes hungry.

my2bundles · 28/05/2019 11:06

He carnt pour his own cereal because you don't want to upset him? He is going g to walk all over you in the coming years Tell him to do his own and sort his sisters out. My 11 year old makes scrambled egg sandwiches and sometimes pancakes from scratch for breakfast. Pouring cereal is nothing. And it's cereal first.

HariboLectar · 28/05/2019 11:33

If you put the milk in first, surely the whole milk to cereal ratio is going to be wrong Confused

AloneLonelyLoner · 28/05/2019 14:20

OP is a cereal Troll. Cease and desist. Who puts milk in first??? How do you get the ratios right with this craziness. Wtaf.

More importantly, how prepared cereal for a 13 year old that presumably has arms and a fully functioning brain? Nobody that's who!!

IceCreamFace · 28/05/2019 14:22

I just had to come on here to check if this is real? Surely no one puts milk in first?
