@Katya. I think actually get enough sleep. Most of the times at least... but I have a lousy rounding to... fall asleep when I tuck kids into bed.... be awake in the middle of the night... be awake and worry about all kinds of things big and small... dh has nightmares and sometimes wakes up screaming... and i am sometimes startled from that. It is different when your big guys has nightmares... different from s kid having nightmares.... because you can just tell the kids everything is alright.
However I am awake then and do not useful... and it annoys me is such a waste of time.

Regrettably so. I have no common sense or respect for social norms

wendy37622 · 28/04/2019 02:51

Yes thank you

Amibeingnaive · 28/04/2019 02:58

@incogneto huge sympathies - been there, twice. Hope it all goes as smoothly as can realistically be expected x

UAEMum · 28/04/2019 03:01

Now its time for the expats like me to wake up. 6am here in the UAE. I'm still knackered even though I slept well. Im catching up after a night sleeping (not sleeping) in my sons house the night before, and a busy weekend. Hey ho, packed lunches and getting kids up, here I come.....

OnlineAlienator · 28/04/2019 03:04

Feeding my three week old DD in bed. Both DH and DS2 are snoring. DS2 is in a new toddler bed in our room whilst we are finishing decorating his new room and the nursery.

Kpo58 · 28/04/2019 03:12

I'm awake too. Still trying to get DS back to sleep and transfer him back into his cot.

WeMarchOn · 28/04/2019 03:15

I'm up feeding my 5 month old. Smile I think I will need caffeine tomorrow. Her sleep has been so disrupted for the last few weeks with a cold. Hopefully it's getting better now.

b0bb1n · 28/04/2019 03:30

I have a newborn I am ALWAYS awake. Good to know I'm not the only one up :)

Weegobshite · 28/04/2019 03:49

Still wide awake here and trying to think of ways I can make life meaningful again. Wish I could sleep. I had more sleep when my 2nd was a little person, and he was known by the neighbours as Damien the hearty!!!!

117Southdownroad · 28/04/2019 03:51

Wide awake here.. dc are with their Dad until Monday. I’m feeling lost and pointless without them. I’ll enjoy the lie on in the morning though 😴

KatyaZamolodchikova · 28/04/2019 04:04

I’m still awake. My sister sent me a book she’s written, she’s got several agents interested so I’ve been reading that while I’m up. It’s pretty good. Sorry to hear some of you are still up, and what a mix of reasons!

Lollyjack · 28/04/2019 04:09

Me I’m awake as usual overthinking things. Xx

Kpo58 · 28/04/2019 04:24

Success! After nearly 2.5 hours, DS is asleep again. I can now go back to bed.

MortyVicar · 28/04/2019 04:32

@brizzlemint, if you're still up.

Annoyingly I've got no idea. It's not PMT as I'm post menopause but it feels like that.

Kind of snap. Except that in my case I'm not grumpy, I'm hyper in a way that I used to be the day before I started my period, only it's been going on for four days now. Being shattered but bouncing off the ceiling isn't a good combination.

Half an hour ago I was looking for things to clean, but the last few nights means there's nothing else I can do that won't wake the household. My eyes feel like saucers and my head feels like it's going to explode.

fairydustandpixies · 28/04/2019 04:36

Me too, wide awake since 3am. Again. Grrrrrrrrr!
