I am watching a crap Danny Dyer film with dh, really need to pep things up a bit

I'm awake, but as a night owl I nearly always am at this hour. The house is quiet, everyone else has gone to bed, the dogs are asleep around me & I'm half watching an old episode of Poirot while on MN. It's bliss.

I work nights and its my night off, still in night time mode. Just worked 3 nights in a row.

Me. I really ought to go to bed.

Me, but I’m going to bed now.

I'm awake. Feeding my 2 week old baby that doesn't like to settle on her own. I've had 3hrs sleep a day since bringing her home. I'm exhausted and my dh is all tucked up in bed. So jealous of him right now. I can see why people give up on breastfeeding. It's so intense. But him getting sleep means he can look after me during the day.

Arsehole youngest child still won't sleep in her own bed. So I can't relax as I get kicked and prodded and sweaty. She's 4 for fuck sake.

So I'm downstairs, just cracked open a beer and am booking airport parking

I'm often a bit of a night owl too. I'm still up and watching Catch Me if you Can. It's got another hour to run yet, but I probably should go to bed!

Still awake here. Had a kip around six so now wife awake.
Catching up on tv at the moment and nearly out of tv to watch 😊 hoping will be sleepy soon.

I'm still up. Just back from hospital where DM is in final stages with Stage 4 metatastasing breast cancer. But need some sleep so I can be there again tomorrow

Me. Was induced this morning at 11am so I'm sat up bored in hospital not able to sleep.

Hello night owl Checking in

Was sleepy earlier, but started some planning I needed to do for work whilst keeping half an eye on the TV, got engrossed and woke myself up thoroughly. Hence messing around on MN now.

Uncontrollable pregnancy itch (it's been checked at hospital) my body is so itchy it's keeping me awake and driving me nuts!!

@slapmyarseandcallmemary: has your liver been checked? And have they checked you for pre-eclampsia? I heard that a uncontrollable itch in pregnancy can be a warning sign.

Me. Had red wine this evening and now can't sleep. Can no longer tolerate alcohol it seems. Drinking water with an entire lemon in it in the vain hope it counteracts the squiffy feeling until it passes. 🤢. @Drochaid No. sip water - get up and move around and take a couple of Zantac. I feel your pain.

Me. Just woke up for my nightly bowl of cereal. 37 weeks pregnant. Have been doing this every night for the last 4 months at least

Me. Another one who’s had a huge argument with OH. I can never sleep after an argument (there are a lot of sleepless nights here). He’s downstairs. I’m in bed.

Me. I'm supposed to be at work (night shift) but I've been sent home as I've trapped a nerve in my back 😫😭 standing or moving is making me cry in pain. Now in bed & can't move into to any position let alone get comfy 😭 I fear a long, uncomfortable night ahead.
