Where has my 11 month old son hidden our TV remote?
I have looked EVERYWHERE. This is coming from the same boy that put a jar of marmite in the washing machine.

Cats' litter tray?

Last time our remote went missing it was in the tumble drier hose.

It'll be under the sofa, in your handbag or in the kitchen. You took it with you by mistake when you made a cup of tea.

Pan cupboard? Downstairs loo?
Baby change bag?

It's got to be in something, a bag, inside a ride on seat, inside a box, drawer, bucket, bin laundry bag.

My DS and DN love to hide things I need.

DS1 used to put things under the bonnet of the ride-on tractor he had.

In pocket in pram???

Do you have a dog? Ours likes pinching those if they are accessible. If the door is open he’ll take them outside to play with. They all have teeth marks [classy]

Ours was in our baby bag. I found it after a bought a new remote....

Laundry hamper? My dd hid our remote in there once. I turned the house upside down looking for it. Must have been very amusing for her.

Oh god did we ever find out where that woman's ironing board went?

Check the fridge and your handbag. I've put ours in both those places before.

My ds is nearly 2 and has a hiding place and I still don’t know where it is! I’ll be looking for weeks for something that has disappeared, finally conclude it must have been thrown out accidentally, then hes sitting there playing with it days later. Happens at least once a month. Think we’ve got a portal to another dimension somewhere that he only knows about 😩

Ours was outside last week. In the greenhouse. Why? "Just because" apparently.

Inside the washing machine, washing/laundry basket, peg basket, inside Thomas the stupid tank engine and his stupid lid on the stupid seat of the stupid ride on (can you tell where things are in our house?)

Have you checked up high in case you moved it, as well as low and in the annoying edge bits under the sofa cushions that are apparently designed to collect dust? Also in the fridge and by the kettle, plus dressing gown pockets.

Toddler spots... In the biscuit tin drum? In any low drawer?

The longest I’ve spent looking for the remote it was finally discovered in a welly boot.

Bin? We almost lost two remotes, a set of keys and a very important letter that way when my ds was 2. He was fascinated by the bin. The weirdo.

You've just reminded me that there was an ironing board lying on the pavement (no one around) on the opposite side of the road to Hastings promenade yesterday. Maybe the ironing board went on holiday (by mistake) and passed out drunk there.

I went to my parents house a few weeks ago with my 2 yr old, and he got caught red handed in the kitchen posting food from one of their cupboards into their bin.

Although the last time our remote went missing, it eventually turned up behind the microwave. No idea how it got there, but it can’t have been the 2 yr old as he’s not tall enough for that.

Check your shoes / boots, we often find things hidden by our toddler in our shoes.
