Lighthearted.

Where has my 11 month old son hidden our TV remote?
I have looked EVERYWHERE. This is coming from the same boy that put a jar of marmite in the washing machine.

An update for all - we have turned the place upside down in search of remote - NO SUCCESS!

I have looked in all obvious places, as well as inside shoes, inside toy box and other toy storage, on baby changing table shelves, behind TV as well as in the washing machine and other appliances and DP has had a look in the bin - where ds has previously (mis)placed my socks, but we have found no trace. Toddlers are truly masters of hiding things it seems! Going to have another look now as I really want to watch some TV...

It's buried deep inside your sofa.

Don't just take the cushions off you have to stick your hand right into the back and have a good feel around.

Your tv will have manual buttons somewhere surely?

I reckon you've not got a DS problem, you've got a DP problem, then.

Now start looking in places that an idiot a man might take the remote to and insist loudly that he hasn't seen it ever.

Like under his side of the bed, his jeans pocket in the linen bin, where he keeps his beers, in the car, that sort of thing.

The 4yo hid the remote upstairs in his toybox because he didn't want to watch Peppa pig. 2yo dsis wanted PP.

Maybe the ironing board went on holiday (by mistake) and passed out drunk there.

Has your DH gone to bed and taken it with him by mistake like mine did a while ago?

Okay, so this morning DS was playing and I'm having a cup of tea. Turn around to see DS toddling around holding the remote!

I am so confused about where the hell it was as I literally searched under/in/on every piece of furniture and storage in the room. I think it will bug me forever, lol.

Try the fridge.

I lost my running watch for several days and found it in the salad drawer - it's low down enough for a little hands to pop the remote in there unnoticed.
