To hate being at home

I have 3 kids. One of them is ok. Teenager, keeps to themselves. The other 2... Jesus Christ! They’re 4 and 7 and are, for want of a better expression, utter twats!! They’re bearable on their own, but together, they just make me want to scream into a pillow!
I use any excuse to get out of the house(I now have 3 jobs!) DH gets the easy bit. Works all day, comes home, eats, goes to bed. Doesn’t have to contend with the little thundercunts quite as much as I do.
Would IBU to emigrate to another country and just leave them all to it?!

Thundercunts, eh? Must try harder.

Perhaps you need to take a long hard look at your parenting methods. Calling your small children such a horrible name is really disturbing.

Schuyler · 25/04/2019 16:58

Is it still Easter holidays? 😴

FromDespairToHere · 25/04/2019 17:04

Just here for the deletion message if I'm being honest...

Newbiewife · 25/04/2019 17:04

Not nice names but clearly you aren't being serious, probs shouldn't ditch them all permanently but sounds like you need a holiday and a child free one for sure!

Planetian · 25/04/2019 17:07

Lol I think of my DC in similar terms some days OP! YANBU

LuckyLou7 · 25/04/2019 17:07

You sound unwell

SpinneyHill · 25/04/2019 17:09

I've still got a few days till they go back as well. 3 hours till bedtime

sockatoe · 25/04/2019 17:10

I've had a day like that too. They'll be back at school next week presumably, so they'll be more settled in a routine, if you're anything like me, you'll be looking to find some time to find your home underneath the school holiday debris too.
Did I spot that you're low on milk? Best pop out and get some ready for the morning when hubby is home. Maybe slope into the pub for a swift one on the way back too Grin

rabbitheadlights · 25/04/2019 17:11

Ha ha OP no advice .... But I'm right there with you Flowers CakeGin from me to you .... Ignore the post patrol!!

NotSuchASmugMarriedNow1 · 25/04/2019 17:15

YANBU as long as you only call them thundercunts on here and not in real life Grin

SpinneyHill · 25/04/2019 17:16

Ice cream van can fuck off too, 3rd time that wankers been round today, 15 minutes of screaming 'pleeeeeeeeeeeasssssee mmmmmuuuuuuuummmmm' from youngest has begun.

Thundercunts I can understand.......

Bitchinabonnet · 25/04/2019 17:19

Cuntlings is a good one ....

AnyaMumsnet · 25/04/2019 17:19

Hi there all,

Thanks for all your reports. We'd just like to remind you that troll hunting and personal attacks aren't allowed on the boards. If you have any concerns, please do report them to us, we're always happy to take a look.

We've had a look behind the scenes and OP has been around for a while, so we're going to let this stand.

SnowyAlpsandPeaks · 25/04/2019 17:21

Wow that’s a new one. Not a name I’d ever choose to call my dc no matter how much they’d driven me up the wall...

Sexnotgender · 25/04/2019 17:22

YANBU. Sorry your crotch goblins are doing your head in.

continuallychargingmyphone · 25/04/2019 17:22

Why have three of them? Confused

HBStowe · 25/04/2019 17:26

This thread is like flypaper for twats...

Hope you’re ok OP, sounds like you need a break. Have you spoken to your husband and asked him to give you a day off at the weekend perhaps? See if you can persuade him to take them out for the day and leave you in peace Flowers

IWantMyHatBack · 25/04/2019 17:29

Thundercunts 😁😁😁😂😂

Love 'crotchgoblin' too. I know exactly how you feel OP.

Facedown · 25/04/2019 17:43

I only save these names for special occasions and I’ve never actually said it fu their angelic, chocolate-stained faces.
I’m no troll. Just a mom in need of a G&T

OP posts:
IWantMyHatBack · 25/04/2019 17:47

Same. I'd never actually use those words AT them, but it helps to rant sometimes.

Flipping them off behind their backs is very satisfying too.

"Ice cream van can fuck off too, 3rd time that wankers been round today, 15 minutes of screaming 'pleeeeeeeeeeeasssssee mmmmmuuuuuuuummmmm' from youngest has begun."

My wonderful friend has convinced my youngest that the ice cream van is actually the library bus.

Pimmsypimms · 25/04/2019 17:49

End of half term is always a killer in my opinion op. I have a 14 year old, who pretty much gets on with it and arranges her own get togethers with friends, but my 6 year old is driving me bonkers!! He wants to be out doing things.....constantly!! I just want to have a day in my pjs and watching crappy kids films!! As much I love spending time with them during half term, I'm ready for them to go back....Roll on Monday!

Iggly · 25/04/2019 17:49

Well the more you run from the dcs the harder it is to actually tolerate them.

I find it easier now I’m home all the time and not working (7&9) because I don’t have work stress in the background!

PiggoSuperstar · 25/04/2019 18:00

I hear you OP. I really do.

Mine all have their moments but the youngest 2 will often go at each other’s throats. The youngest is exceptionally loud, reactive and violent when wound up. I let them get on with it at times because I get less pissed off when they sort it out amongst theirselves.

Have a pint of gin on me. Don’t even worry about the tonic!
