Some councils do incentivise using reusable nappies.

The first plastic nappy still exist s and I think each baby will fill a barn full of nappies in its infancy.

All baby wipes still exist also. Stop using them.

The trouble is use of these things is the only way now that people seem to be able to live!

Bloody hell, imagine working full time but having your baby in reusable nappies! Nurseries would stop taking babies and all the extra electric washing those bloody nappies wouldn’t be too clever for the environment either.

completely agree with this. Nobody needs a car bigger than a Ford Focus (especially if they don't have more than 2 children). They may want one, that's not the same. Air pollution is a massive problem. Avoiding plastic bags because of Blue Planet is all very nice but people need to look at their cars as well.

Parrot. I personally found mat leave a piece of cake and loved every minute of it. But I don’t think I would enjoy every minute of being a sahm with a toddler.

The reason I found mat leave so easy was I had a very happy baby who slept all night: but that wasn’t anything I did right or wrong. It was luck.

Unfortunately happy baby is a hard work toddler and I would struggle being at home with him all day.

I would like to be able to keep my children home when they are sick even if that means they attend under 96% I also think I should be able to take them on holiday in term time if I choose to. You only live once, and it seems that most of that childhood must be spend in school. Doing constant says practice 🥺

Also, I do not like summer. The heat and light give me migraines. I never chased my children out into the garden for enforced fun. They have grown into healthy, beautiful adults despite having a sun shy mother.
