I'm fairly sure my engagement ring has been delivered in the post today... it's an unbranded box but it's got a postal label on it with "antique diamond ring" and some value details on it.

DP was doing the gardening so I signed for it and have put it in the hallway as I normally would. He doesn't seem to have noticed the label. Do I say something?

(I'm fairly sure it's for me Grin)

Please never tell him. I found my engagement ring prior to proposal (and then knew the box was in his jacket all week when we were away) and it was only last evening at the cottage when he finally proposed. We've been married 8 years and he still doesn't know 🤣

So for the 58 dumbass people who insist on “placemarking” here’s a nice simple idiot-proof guide...

If you’re on a web browser, see those three little dots at the bottom of each post? If you tap/click on that and select “bookmark” it will save that post so it automatically comes back to it when you open the thread. Then all you have to do is click on the option to watch the thread and voila! Place marked!

If you’re on the app, just swipe left on the bottom post and again, hit bookmark. To watch the thread, swipe left on the title at the top and hit watch.

Then the rest of us don’t have to wade through 2 and a bit fucking pages of “oh no, I’m not place marking at all LOL wink wink” bollocks.

I don't want to get into the placemarking argument Wink but I'm sure on the classic site you can tap in the bottom right hand corner of the post and a bookmark appears, no?

If I open the 3 dots I don't get a bookmark option, just report, pm, up, down, profile and reply.

Ok then... here's screenshot on Classic on my laptop.

Literally all I had to do was hover my mouse over your post and the word "Bookmark" popped up in the corner. Crazy!!
