I'm fairly sure my engagement ring has been delivered in the post today... it's an unbranded box but it's got a postal label on it with "antique diamond ring" and some value details on it.

DP was doing the gardening so I signed for it and have put it in the hallway as I normally would. He doesn't seem to have noticed the label. Do I say something?

(I'm fairly sure it's for me Grin)

Congratulations! Until you can get it resized, grab some thread from a hotel sewing kit and wrap it around the back repeatedly to make the ring a bit thicker.

Congratulations OP! Flowers

It's a beautiful ring, make sure you get it resized asap- my engagement ring was also too big and it flew off my finger, as I turned round to shut a toilet door beind me, and landed perfectly in the toilet bowl! Sufficed to say I had mine resized and cleaned!!!

It's a ring we saw shopping on a previous holiday, and I loved. He arranged for the little shop to send it to him.

I love this lovely man. 😍 CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!

Lovely. I hope that you have a great time away and enjoy the planning.

Maybe wrap some dental floss around the back to snug it up a bit.

Here's to the rest of your holiday and life together :)

That is soooo romantic, congrats!
If it's a little big, you could try wrapping some string or something around the back if it as a temporary way of making it a bit more secure? Just a thought.
It's a beautiful ring, and I've never been happier for someone I've never met! x
