I'm fairly sure my engagement ring has been delivered in the post today... it's an unbranded box but it's got a postal label on it with "antique diamond ring" and some value details on it.

DP was doing the gardening so I signed for it and have put it in the hallway as I normally would. He doesn't seem to have noticed the label. Do I say something?

(I'm fairly sure it's for me Grin)

He's spotted it and squirrelled it away somewhere as "work stuff" Grin

Definitely don't tell him :-) my dh made it so obvious he was going to propose but he was so excited that I couldn't spoil it for him! It did mean for the next month every time he bent down to do anything like tie his shoe laces I was like 😱😱

Also it meant I could get my nails done (very vain I know) 😂

I expect it will be on holiday or around my birthday, which means there may be a bit of a wait... but I'll definitely update.

Between the parcel coming, some things his mum said (and tried to cover up, bless her) and a few things he's said, I'm pretty sure that I've guessed the date. Possibly. It's in the middle of May.

As far as I'm aware, he has no idea that I know. I am trying to conceal my excitement and happiness. Bless him Grin
