I've just watched Tenable and the thing I thought it was called didn't make the top ten of names.

I'm honestly, genuinely shocked. I thought it was really common and would be the most obvious answer.

I’m so glad to see others use this !

catgirl1976 · 18/04/2019 18:32

The fat controller. That’s what DS called it when he was very little thanks to Thomas and friends and it has stuck. We now also have Apple TV which has a small remote and that is called the thin controller.

froggybiby · 18/04/2019 18:32

Remote control...I thought it was obvious Wink
Never heard of any other name.

cheesenpickles · 18/04/2019 18:34

Remote or flicker picker channel changer thing. Grin

CaptainCallisto · 18/04/2019 18:35

My dad always called it the podger (because you podge it!) and I was about 15 before I realised that wasn't it's actual name. DH gets really cross if he catches himself saying it, but as the DC's both do it too he's fighting a losing battle Grin

Dahlietta · 18/04/2019 18:36

Oh my god what’s wrong with you people - it’s clearly called ‘the hand set’

THANK YOU, @amongstthetallgrass - I thought I was going insane!! Grin
